I’ve been waiting for this for sooooooo long and it didn’t disappoint. First War Machine I’ve seen out in a con. So rad! Can’t wait to see what you make next!!!! “BOOM! You lookin for this?” - War Machine
If you did a v2 definitely do some wethering on it 👍🏻 I do it with all my cosplays and it helps share a bigger story. But that suit regardless is badass man, nice work! 🤘🏻
Great job man, absolutely beautiful work! I'm working on some 3d printed armor, and I can appreciate how much time all the printing, adjustments, sanding, priming, painting, clearcoat, etc. takes. Congrats on the build - looking forward to seeing more of your work - I see some star wars helmets in the background, would love to see some star wars armor projects!
@JustGee3D my marvel collection space has run out of room. We've outgrown our apartment. One day I'm getting a Daredevil S1 suit and a mannequin to display it on. He's my favoirite
Incredible job. Absolutely amazing costume. I'm definitely subscribing. Just make sure to wear gloves while sanding, you don't want any paint or filler to be absorbed by skin contact.
Thank you so much, and welcome to the channel! Yea sometimes the longer you work on a project the more complacent you get with PPE I need to do better! 😮💨
Wish people would try harder to make their suits much more comfortable. For the thigh armor, you can use leggings while wearing a cup(male sports cup)-bond the pannels to the leggings with some sewing, nylon thread, aswell as apart of the waist. The shins simply need a foot bracket. Takes so much strain off of the upper body, you'll need it. Doing this on the chest with a compressions shirt will also help aswell. A bonus is that it makes most of it into a single part like putting on a pair of normal pants and a shirt.
These are some amazing tips, for the most part this suit was very comfortable. And this was my first suit I ever made, so I will be taking some of your advice into the future. Also in the future I hope to have more than 45 days to get it done! 😂
In terms of the chest, YES! you cannot get your freaking arms through those holes. I know they're there to fill the gaps but they never work! I like the clamshell idea with the back and abs but for my MK39, its way too bulky to do that. all the pieces still all separated but they use a clever system to support the weight of the whole torso and arms. Mine needs a new paint job.... holy crap, its intimidating to repaint the whole thing. Congrats on the final build. holy crap, you may need to do my paint job for me XD. DO THE MARK 6!!! youd rock that like a champ!!! is that plentifulprops???
Yeah I don’t know anyone who kept the loops! lol. So the abs for me were a happy accident. initially I cut the sides off because I didn’t think I needed them. But I hated the way it looked without them. So I printed and added them later and it worked out amazing. And you got this, if you need any paint tips I’d love to help anyway I can! And I really want to do the MK 6 I just need things to line up. Also that is Nick, it was awesome meeting him, his videos help me so much with my build! 🙌🏾
DUDE your armor looks amazing, currently making my own armor, the model 25 from the extremis comics, but the only question I have is, how did you get the repulsors to work, I always have trouble with them.
For mine I used pop lights from Walmart they fit perfectly. I did change out the switch and battery source. And glued the switch to the back they worked great!
I love your channel, you do great content and work. How is the overall mobility in the warmachine costume? If I could add one piece of very slight criticism, it would be that you need something to go over the shoes(to keep the complete theme). That's the only part that took me out of the immersion of the costume. 😊
Thanks so much for the kind words. Rewatch the reveal part of the video again, the suit has complete shoes. During Dragon Con I couldn’t wear them because I couldn’t walk that much! I should have make a back up plan for that but now I know. Other than that mobility wasn’t that bad. I could move… prob not play football tho 😂
@@JustGee3D Lol I missed it, I'll look again. So how was dragon con overall? I know you want to build another warmachine but have you thought about making a black manta suit? 😁
I really enjoyed it, I’m already planing for next year! I actually wanted to make a black Manta but I have to do the paint job correct l. I need more practice on my chrome work

OK dude I'm still watching, I'm around 20 mins in and you just said something about buying a cricket. What is a cricket? I know it's hasn't got anything to do with pinocchio that's for sure 😂. I started a suit about a year ago and have t got back to it yet but this video is motivating me to do just that so thanks. Great job too man. I'll subscribe to you 👍👊

You have to look through my previous videos, I 3D printed it, it was wayyyyy too heavy to mount! I’m going to have to make it again out of foam or something.
I've already made the Mini. ruclips.net/video/MEawJDb0fpU/видео.htmlsi=6IqThgyacllCy4qr But it was 3d printed and wayyyy too heavy to mount on the suit. I'm prob going to have to make in again out of foam or something 😫
The suit is sick but you should make a machine gun and put a motor in the base and then have the barrel spin I think it is called a barrel edit I just saw the machine gun video lol 😅
I build it, take a look at my previous videos. It’s 3D printed so it’s wayyyy too heavy to be mounted. I might make another out of foam and make it spin to complete to suit! 😉
