The VP Debate may get surprisingly high ratings, considering just how astonishingly interesting the last two debates have been.

Can you guys do a podcast talking about the state of the Senate and the House races? As well as one that's focused on the issues other than immigration, the economy, and abortion. I get those are the most talked about issues but I would like to hear about other issues that exist: climate change, gun laws, healthcare, foreign policy (Ukraine and Israel), etc.

I think VP debates can have some impact. For example, "Mr. Vice President, I'm speaking. I'm speaking." That got a lot of air time in 2020

Any possibility of making an aggregate for the key issues cross tabs? I realize the questions are not uniform but many are similar. I notice the Siena data on economy and immigration consistently shows a higher delta on economy and immigration than other top tier pollsters and that MSM such as Newsweek and CNN (and of course NYT) rely on those numbers for their analysis. ( not a good use of polling) The trend lines in most all other polls is a clear narrowing as the contrast between proposals becomes clearer. Would be nice to have an aggregate that shows whether this is just confirmation bias or indications of narrative shaping.
Also, some pollsters divide inflation from economy. Attitudes toward the economy are heavily influenced by the affective reaction to higher costs (as confirmed by the data on personal financial situation as mostly positive compared to economy as a whole -- 49% of Republicans polled believing we are in a recession, the healthy economic data registers for maybe 10-20% of all voters. As likely to influence as Fed policy.
More interesting question is if the NY scandal affects all of the Long Island seats that flipped in 22. Most democrats were not big Adams fans. Galen's take/ question of relevance for Democratic branding nationally is simplisitc partisan tagging.Doesn't mean Fox won't use it.
What actual connection is there between liberal priorities and inflation?? The only related question is if Round 3 of stimuluis in 2021 was too much (Economist rate it 1-2% influence at most). Vance sells it as Inflation Explosion Act which bears no support in logic or macroeconomics. But that is just marketing. IRA was passed in autumn 22 on the downcurve of post pandemic inflation.

I'm surprised it's only 10%/12%/etc. that think the other candidate would be better at certain issues. But I guess some people really do just believe whatever their party doctrine is...

Harris needs to talk about the opportunity economy and the threat massive tarrifs and trade war means to inflation jobs.

@@wa-bu3ke Trump's plan will trigger a trade war job losses and inflation. The business community insanely believes he won't pass his Tariffs into law. It's so risky.

First question why are we normalizing Trump as a regular candidate? Seriously everyone knows he's not and why doesn't more media stand up and point it out? Regardless how much somebody might like Trump you can't go there he's made it absolutely dangerous to have him as president. I know you guys think not our job but I'm sorry it's everybody job..

Because he’s not Deep State. Why are we normalizing deep state candidates? (everyone else)
