I just started getting in into the 40v makita line. I have dewalt and Milwaukee too. I'm looking for the strongest hand drill from either of these three. Would this be on the top of the list?
I use one more than 2 years now. It's specs are nothing special compared to competition or even older models. But. It runs much cooler. I often run it non stop with 2-3 4ah batteries, the drill gets steaming hot but it runs good for now. I used to go with two older lxt drills and switched between them after one got too hot, I carried 6-10 5amp batteries to get the same amount of job done. weightwise I miss smal batteries like 2-3ah 18v. It has a good chuck made in japan, but the drill is assembled in china. Side handle is still garbage, even worse it is not compatible with older drills with same design. Over all competitors the best were dewalt drills, but they were hot like lxt models.
magnificent tool and a beautiful review. Thanks.
Nice review!
So powerfull... The price is fair enough to its performance... Thankyou for sharing 👌🏼😁

Yes, very professional review.
I wish they offered the 2x 2.5AH kit in Canada. Only kitted with the 4.0 here.
This things really heavy with a 4ah indeed
Think it would beat flex if you popped on a bl4040f
And what can you say about the Makita 40V DF002G?
Heyy can I have the same exact review on the Hercules hammer drill please

@@riba2233 yes, I saw tinker with tools did a review on it and it was disappointing
The points are right.high powers, same as corded drills....early years, that i bought,...wooden , metals, feels the same ...
