Pisses me off that all these people worked so hard and put in so much effort for these games, only to have it all be for nothing because 3 gamedevs decided to be malicious assholes and wanted to leak people's private work.

They also leaked pictures of Scott's children and they also leaked stuff about Scott's wedding

oh my godd that final poster just made me so sad.. the irony of seeing chomper standing alongside the other fanverse characters knowing what the game's creator has done. Its so damn sad.
After watching this it makes me feel lucky yet also frustrated because the creator of JRS was also in that group but there game still gets to be released unless something has changed since I wrote this comment and ive been looking forward for that game since I found out about it (Im assuming its because it was literally finished). But it just feels so bad for the team of chompers and all there work going down the drain and in a way unfair that jrs is still releasing while there work wont (Im assuming jrs also had a team)
In my opinion some one should ever remake the project or try to see if there a way get a leader to get the team back together to finish it. ps I don't know if any of these ideas will work but hopefully we can see something some day .
When I first saw Chomper's I was interested in the game it had, unique and original animatronics, good lighting, creepy atmosphere, and good animations that were kind of creepy especially the blinking while the animatronics where moving I liked the game it was cool in my opinion I think Scott would of had it in the fanverse it was a game that had something going for it had potential of being something unique from the rest and being a masterpiece but then it all went down the drain and was canceled cause of the creators fucking purposely childish act I hope the creator is ashamed of themselves for what they did and creating a group with 2 other devs that had also great games that had potential and also were hoping to be in the fanverse but those 2 other devs also did some childish and all 3 of there games and there potential went down the drain and I wanted to say I am very sorry to all the innocent people who worked on these games who also had hope of these games being in the fanverse we feel bad for you and thank you for the amazing work you have done for these games its phenomenal every person who worked on these games each one of you have great potential and I hope to all of you innocent devs who were part of these games to succeed and feel better soon.
I mean... this situation really sucks. Based on what this looked like, it had elements of old and new gameplay styles of Fnaf. It looked like the scarier security breach that I kind of wanted.

I pity the creator. Chompers, even with the retro minigame alone, looked promising. I just don’t understand why someone would go through making their own fangame the best it could be just to squander their own reputation.

It’s sad, I was really looking forward to this game, but in the end, ultinight (feel free to correct my spelling of his name) was just an absolute A hole, it looked like such a cool game! But nope, he just had to mess with evergreen and Scott’s personal life
Honestly, it's just mind boggling to me how someone would purposefully ruin their reputation, cut short their biggest passion project and throw away the work of their entire team the way Ultranite and their group did. What was he thinking? I just can't grasp the thought process of it
I think Ultranite wanted to get out of the FNaF indie scene and self-sabatoge himself and ruin everyone in FNaF's fangames community.
I think Ultranite was hoping to release his projects and find success before going nuclear

This news is definitely a huge betrayal to me. I'm currently working on a fairly big game that Ultranite worked on (until the controversy) called "The Rat Cave", and we showed him everything. I'm confident that he was planning on leaking our stuff at the end of it all.

When I heard to controversy I had this idea, but I want to run it by someone who knows more about it, I want an honest opinion as I know little to nothing and I want my opinions to be based on facts.
What about revealing a trailer using the current assets? Lil show what it is now, make it clear that this is what you have CURRENTLY, but also say “coming soon” basically it will be done when it is done and is susceptible to change. I seen it would defuse the situation and make it so the “leaks” lose their power as you showed what was in the game. (unless it I story or endings than I don't know why to do there). Is that possible? Or is it stupid?
@@jacobc8036 It sounds like a good idea on paper, but we've already revealed almost all of the stuff that we wouldn't deem "spoilers". The leaks would probably ruin our game for everyone no matter what.

It most likely will. Usually when something is cancelled or the owners turn out to be bad people a new owner or team takes that place to pick up the pieces. Like when Scott cawthon retired Steel wool took his place and continued to work on Security breach.
It's possible, one of the higher up team members or another developer may pick up the project. Typically canceled projects are eventually picked up assuming they have enough stuff to salvage it so I think we'll see Chompers back in 1-3 years

I'm here to explain the context and story behind my renders for Chomper's so people can understand better.
9:50 Ben is in the kitchen with Honey the bee, and I made this render for a earlier idea of how this sequence would work out (inspired by Jurassic park) And this sequence would've been for a boss fight where you would have to lure honey into the freezer and freeze her to death.
10:14 This shot was a test on getting the style of Midway (springtrap) perfect. Nothing much to talk about, you can see the tally marks and dry blood on the signifying he's been stuck in the safe room for a very, VERY long time. Which I would like to thank Judy (the composer and concept artist) for helping me get the pose right!
10:35 This was a death scene concept that I had thought of. Yes, the game would've had gore and blood and this was an opportunity to make this scene more detailed. With how lives worked in the game, you'd get knocked out at first, and then second time you got caught you'd get stabbed or brutally lost your limbs.

The Jurassic park reference would've been awesome to see, and the idea of freezing one of the animatronics sounded really cool! I feel bad that all this won't get to be seen in the actual game. You and the others looked like you did a fantastic job on the game development.
Honestly you guys should just continue the development of chomper’s, you can’t just let one man child ruin your passion project.
My brother was so disappointed because of this. He really wanted to play this :(. As a person who works for a fan game (not fnaf) I can relate to how sad this is too.

Why not find someone else to make chompers? They didn't have to cancel it entirely. They could have just delayed it until they found someone else to run the project.
I think the downside is that Ultranite and the other baddies already have inside info on the plot and gameplay. So just getting someone else to finish it would be pointless if someone else could just leak everything they know. You would have to drastically change everything, the characters, the mechanics... and by then you're already back at square one for making a game.
@@miseryadoptionsoftware Well, not particularly, games and such can still be successful even if a lot of stuff is leaked, it doesn't have to be the end, after all, a lot of people probably won't even read or see the leaks.
Even the ones who do will probably play the game anyway, leaks really aren't the end all be all.
I doubt anyone really wanted to keep working on it after the fact, something like this happening would definitely take the fun out of it
It's really a shame that one person's actions can steal away precious time and work from a dozen people. That's time they won't get back, that is now totally wasted. Experience they can't really use to their advantage, efforts all gone, because of one person. Worst part is, it applies to more than just fangames. Really any group project has that risk, unless you have someone in charge who can nip it in the bud... Unfortunately, we know who played that role in this case. Definitely feel like if he hadn't been in charge, Chomper's might've continued and finished development without him.

i hope someone gets permission from everyone who worked on chompers (except ultra-shite) to make their own interpretation of the gamecand what it would have been. i love those piercing green eyes and that shiny gold tooth chomper has and the afton model is absolutely horrifying in the best ways. so sad that we cant go a week without someone trying to sabotage the entire community over some stupid personal grudge.
Hot take: but they should've continued developmented without ultranite from what i've heard he was only the director and did not do significant work, take his parts out and continue development, well it can still be a possibility ig

This is a great video to watch. It tackles the current situation in a different fashion by appreciating the lost work done for the Chomper's game.
Working with Chomping with Chomper was very fun despite some problems during its development.
Thank you so much for shouting out members of the Chomper's Dev Team, it really means a whole lot to me and the Chomper's Dev Team to at least get something out of the amount of work that was wasted.
(Side note, shoutout goes to ElPichon for entirely creating the graphics for the base game of Chomping with Chomper! 💜)
hi, not to be rude, but could you ask the devs to release the models for sfm and blender? i think it would help keep the game alive and make all the work worth it.
Okay I know what I'm about to say may sound bad at first, but hear me out. I personally feel like Chomper's should have continued development, without Ultranite being in the picture. I know it sounds crazy, but just think about it. I mean sure the whole story may have needed to be changed due to the absence of Ultranite, but wouldn't you want to have a amazing game with somewhat of an good story, or a canceled game where everyone's hard work is put to waste. I know my opinion won't change anything, I just want y'all to question why Ultranite didn't just give the role of ringmaster to someone higher up on the Chomper's team.

I have a feeling it was similar to why aftonbuilt didn't continue, Ultranite was relying on the fanverse to fund chomper's, it looked pretty damn ambitious to me and I just don't think it was able to get off its feet without the fanverse considering we never got a gameplay trailer.
Man, you're right about Chomper's Afton design. It's great and really creepy! I actually didn't know Afton was in the game at all, I thought it was all original characters.

This controversy is crazy! I just heard about it and can't believe how major it was.
9:27 now a lot of this video angered me, but this REALLY pissed me off. This showed that they had high hopes for making it in the fanverse so they were planning ahead, but then got cut short by their stupid ASS director who threw everything away just to ruin someone’s day. This is just so damn sad to look at I can’t.

I'm so bummed, the game and the character stories put into it were the first time in a while that actually got me excited, havent been a fan of many fangames but this one scratched my itch, I hope the rest of the team can continue
I'm saddened by this whole situation for many reasons, one of the bigger ones being that this was a fan game I was heavily looking forward to seeing come through to completion. But I still cannot wrap my mind around the ultimate end goal of the Pear was. Why intentionally destroy your games and reputation by leaking all this content? What do you gain from it?

The fact that ultranite I’ve had a chance to get into the fan verse but decides to throw everyone under the bus because he was being selfish makes me pissed and really sad. As I was rooting for this game to come out,but now it’s dead in the water.This is what happens when you be selfish.

It’s litterally spoiling the game, even if a simple animation is revealed. you don’t have the game creators premisson.
WTF. If somebody leaked one of my games I would change the characters design because I want people to actually be scared or surprised.

You know Ultranite can lie bout what he did and say he was the creator of Chompers but if he had to recur to such low methods even with all this great work from his staff was doing I'll have to say this, don't let him instead all them should stand up and become the new face of chompers and kick anything related to ultranite out of it.
hopefully this game will have new management and not a jerk who will destroy people's reputation and hopefully will be back on the line of production, i will be praying to see this legendary game back into development one day!

The game was looking absolutely amazing and you can tell that the many people working on it put hard work into it before it was canceled. Really sucks to see someone's poor actions ruin something so good. I hope that the people who had their work unfairly sabotaged get to finish the full game and see their hard work being recognized. The graphics, the character design, the art and the modeling are outstanding.

Since the game got cancelled. I am officially Rebranding the game for my own Fnaf fan game series Five Nights At Owen's. I was originally planned to Rebrand Jollibee's and Jollibee's Phase 2, but 2 other people were rude to me about this and I changed the name of them from Jollibee's And Jollibee's Phase 2 To Joy Time And Joy Time Phase 2, so since the plan was to Rebrand Jollibee's and Jollibee's Phase 2, I scrapped it, and decided to Rebrand Chompers Instead

As someone who doesn't know how the internet works, why are leaks bad? I'm sorry it happened to these people but I don't get the context of what a leak does for someone or their work.
Imagine you are writing a book and someone steals the crucial parts of it and say "look, this is the book that someone was writing and and now you can have it and see wath is about whitout ther permision"
After that no one want to buy and Read the book from you, and all the years of work ends practically in the trash... Thats how I understand it, and if I'm rigth it's something awfull to do to a person an their team

Dude, I think that my favorite screenshot is the Ewoto finale image. I can just see the “Kevin” coming up from behind Afton who is just absolutely dogging on the main character. He just comes up from behind him and just like stabs him or smth I think it would be so so cool.

Ultranite said he is gonna leave the fandom in a Big Bang. He did obviously. But what’s gonna happen when he goes to another fandom, and people know what happened with him. Main reason why this should be illegal.
