I really enjoyed watching this video. I have learned a good amount about the sin of lashon hara for the past few years. I apologize to anyone that I have affected through gossip and by other means too. Gossip isn't the answer.
@watchthemoviefitna The best way to go is to learn the laws of protecting one's speech. The Chovetz Chaim very clearly talks about the situations that you've described and not only talks about what you should not say, but also talks about what you can say and what you should say. It's not about never speaking, but rather knowing the proper way to speak. I recommend checking out one of the many resources on the Laws of Protecting Speech.
The really bad thing about lashing harsh is "One has no choice of who hears Her, yet some selfrighteous (for lack of a better word) "people" judge Her thoughts. Of course those that are pious would never do that, eh? (I seriously ain't referring to the tzdek.)

Very nice
This is a very good example! i guess you could say that this is just the basics of L"H, but there is much more to it....
what if one says bad about someone else but doesn't use there name
is that still lashon hara?

Oh yeah loved the rattleskin part, does that have to do with shedding the holy skin? How is that funny?
