Stunning scenery and the photography was excellent, well done! I did my degree studying the ecology of the moors and never once got bored of them no matter what the season.
@@Professionalmoochers yeah, sadly the number of visitors make it less of a pleasure than it used to be. Loved our time there, but it’s toooooo busy for us these days.
Well done both fantastic vlog as always. We are currently in Muker and must have just missed you. Here for the week. We are hopefully moving up here shortly. Keep up the good work. Always look forward to your posts . Take care
Great vid as usual guys, we love Usher Gap, been many times, shame they dont open in winter anymore they have just had the small feild open in the past. Shame you didn't make the pub, its fun getting through the gaps in the walls on the way back!
Lovely walk, very pretty. Yorkshire Dales are soooooo pretty. We spent weekend there recently after our Whitby camping trip was cancelled. We found a great wildcamp spot on the moors, which was actually near where you stayed and spent the night in the fog looking for werewolves 😂, and next night in little £5 carpark in Kettlewell, home of the Calendar girls🤪! Look at forward to your next installment 🚐🐾
This is my fav place usher gap camp site . And the little village of Muker …. We did the exact walk you done …Butter tubs pass is brill too and Thwaite is lovely too .
Ruth is desperate to get to the North Yorkshire Dales, James Herriot Country. It looks incredible... the blue skies helped. I imagined people watching you filming Sarah picking up after Jack and their reactions. 😆
It’s blummin lovely up there Mal! Luckily I chose a spot where the North Yorkshire folk were more amazed by the sun being out, along with great views, to notice Sarah scooping up his stool from that beautiful historic pier 😂😂
It looked pretty damn special, sun or not. I recall trying to pick up a particularly loose offering from our old dog, who had chosen Llandudno pier to leave a little message. Two old dears sat on the side and thanked me for making the effort. However, they didn't see how loose it was and the fact I chased it around that much, in an effort to get it into the bag, that it looked like a freshly prepared crepe!
Lovely stuff. Nice to see the landscape as well as your 2 mushes ( no offence😂) We are defo going to that site. I dunno how big Yorkshire folk used to be but those gaps in the wall are tight…🍻
We like to mix up the content to please everyone 😄 I thought we were going to have to get naked to get through one of them, it was so tight! Jack was fine, the smug get 😁
We love the Lakes, possible just as much as you guys but we have found parts of yorkshire that seriously rival the Lakes. You could spend a life time exploring Cumbria and Yorkshire. Looking forward to seeing what you got up to in the North York Moors. Was lucky enough to do the Cleveland way this summer and saw the area in a whole new light. Just as stunning. Nice one moochers !
Enjoyed the last few films of your trip. We stayed not far from there on our way back from our big Scotland trip last May and wanted to return - that site was on my list so we'll give it a go next year. Would love a copy of the walk route please.
@@Professionalmoochers thanks - worked fine and downloaded the gpx. BTW, been vegan 6 years and watching that steak made me fancy some for the first time since we stopped! 🤣
Really good! We’ve done lots of cold weather camping and with good clothing, good bedding and a diesel heater, you’ll be good to go 👍🏼 It’s the best time to camp in our opinion (if it’s dry)

We touched lucky with the weather for our first trip to Whitby and it was gorgeous but, it was BUSY!

😄😄 we definitely would’ve taken the road back if we ended up in the pub!
No way would we fit through after pub grub and a few pints 🐷

We seen a number of great spots to park up, noted for the future 😉
great video, we also love the usha gap campsite, thank you

Shame it closes for winter but we’ll definitely be there in spring as there’s so many routes to walk around there
We also are looking forward to returning in our California beach, keep up the great work!
