Don't know what it is, but this is the first time a request to subscribe worked on me! Guessing this will work even if I can't disattach the bench leg? Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video. Would the glue and clamp not be enough? Considering you're glueing long grain to long grain, I'm sure the wood would glue together as strong as ever?
Awesome thanks im trying to fix a chair myself, if you dont care what it looks like in my case is there something you can wrap around the wood to make it real sturdy from splinting again? Its a heavy duty bar chair with a back arms and a nice cushioned seat, it broke and i got loctite 3 glue and im thinking i should also fill the screw holes in with wood filler so when i put it back together its sturdier? thanks sir
In a case like this, you can smear wood glue all the way around the wood, going the length of the split, then tightly wrap a strong cotton string around the wood, winding as many times as needed to cover the length of the split. Then smear wood glue over the top of the string. Let me know if you have any other questions - smooth sailin'!

Aye, matey, it just might work - but make sure you let the glue cure for 24 - 48 hours, just to be safe!
Thanks
