    Action shots! Alright! Man, that looks sweet sir. Outstanding. One Q: Did you do anything inside the jambs? Or just let the overspray go in there? What needs to be done to clean those areas up? That is the part of the job no one talks about :)

      Thank you sir. I have tried several things on the jams over the years but what I do is just mask them. I run a tape line right at the edge of jam and cover them with with either paper or plastic to keep the over spray off. A side from just painting everything in pieces like I did my Butternut Yellow 68, this seems to work the best for me. If you do get over spray in the jams you could sand and buff them but it's a real pain in the rear. I hope this helps..

    • @Rarerat

      Here is a short video on the jams, hope it helps you..

    • @asicerik
      @asicerik Год назад

      @@Rarerat Yup. Thanks. The main issue when I painted my car is I had to use a sealer. So, I had to real careful on those edges because if you had to sand them down, you might expose sealer. So I used that 3m plastic edge tape with two layers and pulled the sealer line off first to make sure all the sealer was covered with basecoat/etc. What a pain.
