The better version of this: Get four streamers to play Mario Party and give them all the goal secretly. They think they're the only one who knows that getting second will win, and will try to hide their throwing. I think the hardest thing here is making it believable enough that people wont figure out the scheme, but if it worked, it would be HILARIOUS.
I suppose if you want to ensure players don't find out they're not the only one... you actually make each player have a *different* win condition You could have each player gunning for 1 of the 4 spots (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th) but this might not be that fun since there may not be much competition and every player could win. Also the player in 1st place doesnt have much interesting strategy going on, they just play normally. I think you want the goal to reflect the entirety of the game, like, that you'll want to possibly play differently in like the whole board not just minigames or smth. Perhaps one player's goal could be to have like... over a certain amount of coins, causing them to hoard and not necessarily even buy stars? Though thinkin bout it more, maybe you do want one player to be playing normally, because that heps keep up the illusion that everyone really doesn't know the secret. Though maybe it is fine if you tell people that everyone has a secret objective, but you can't let people know what because they're all different. So then they do all have their unique objectives but they want to keep them secret so they don't get counterplay (like giving someone a ton of stars as in this) And with that, if you specifically tell people "all the objectives are different" it might be just as much of a surprise when they find out THEYRE ALL THE SAME though probably not as much but, idk it woudl be more believable than "you are definitely the only player with a secret objective"
