Very impressive, and I'm an awesome whistler myself. I love how he didn't use excessive vibrato like a lot of whistlers, and his pitch was always spot on, which, as everyone knows, isn't always the case with whistlers.
I came here because I'm a kickass whistler who just started working on this tune. I'm almost surprised that someone else has done it. But this is a good guide for me. I can hit all of those notes. This is very well done, but I think I can top it. That highest note is a challenge though.
My grandfather, Tomas, used to whistle just the second refrain (and sounding like a remix with O Mio Babbino Caro) and when he passed, the family has wondered which song it was. They are about to find out ❤️ * comes as just a small surprise now, about half of his 11 children left the homeland and some daughters marrying far away from home
