Mags!!! This becoming a Diablo II channel, is the pivot we've all desired. We must go deeper into your theories about the Diablo III development team, being wrought in a divorce.
Jokes aside, you can't beat this atmosphere of Diablo II, you make it seem so cozy. :)
I find retro gaming great, it's cheap to buy on sale from GOG and easy to play around the kids or with your kids when they are older. Kingdoms is a family favourite.
When my kiddo is old enough he’s definitely playing Diablo with me. For now… maybe Oregon Trail lol

As for Diablo 3 making all the women evil... I mean, Blizzard's recently been sued for horrible treatment of women within the company with all kinds of sexual harassment charges. So it doesn't surprise me.

it's funny, I played the hell out of Diablo, but I never played the sequels because by the time the second one came out I was with my Wife and she hates the franchise and would never let another Diablo game into the house (But she loved Warcraft, so it wasn't a Blizzard hate, just diablo). However I wound up replacing Diablo in my heart with Neverwinter Nights, especially the Hordes of the Underdark expansion. That led to my love for Knights of the Old Republic (though I didn't like the second one as much as everyone else), then Dragon Age, then Mass Effect, and now I feel like I'm back to NWN because now I'm playing the hell out of the Pathfinder Games which feels like the NWN Sequels we never got (didn't really enjoy NWN 2 as much as I would have hoped)

13 year old Maggie had a very intense habit of only playing games that had girl protagonist. If I couldn’t be a girl, I didn’t want to play lol.

If you play more d2, I highly recommend getting diablo 2 resurrected. seriously makes for a better experience!

@@MagdalenRose much better graphic fidelity, and many of the unique items have custom graphics where they did not previously. Also it gives a better frame rate which makes the game feel much smoother. Overall the best remaster of any game I have ever seen.
Also adds more runewords and end game activities
eh, i don't know if i *want* more graphic fidelity in Diablo II
and i don't particularly want new content - i'm not playing it for a *new* experience, you know?

@@MulberryDays it’s really amazing. All my old d2 buddies came back and played it with me. It’s truly the best remake of any game I’ve ever seen. Probably because blizzard outsourced it, lol
