Do you mean the scene of two characters sitting and taking? Or the scene of two characters sitting and talking? I don't remember anything because NOTHING happened! Marvel is known for balancing serious, world-ending events with HUMOR to break the tension and keep a hook! The Avengers is the best example! People are in danger, but there's an occasional joke to keep you hooked. Without it, it's just a talking simulator and nothing happens...

The scene ends kinda oddly, but yes! I like how Rhodey is kinda unreasonable now that the weight of his duties have pushed him away from the concerns Tony had w/ the state having access to his tech; it’s draws parallels to Fury recruiting Skrulls to presumably SHIELD

The exchange with Rhodey, in particular, was a top five scene ever in the MCU, for me…but the scene with Talos on the train was absolutely choice as well. This episode was straight fire. it wasn't, its a vain speech on two people who are millionaires who's dialogue is written by a vain writer thinking they're clever - there's no nuance because its them complaining they couldn't get by from their parents nepotism raising them up, its not just pretentious but bigoted to think anyone not their color is somehow not doing as much work while again being two millionaires in a tv show with millions in a budget

I think James Rhodes is a Skrull. Rhodes mentioned that he learned about the Skrulls in a secret government meeting 15 years ago. My guess is, that the meeting was a trap. And that's when the Skrulls stole a bunch of Government officials' identity. That would explain why Rhodes was able to survive the fall in Civil War. The show takes place in 2025. So, 15 years ago is 2010. Meaning, he has been a Skrull since around the 2nd Iron Man movie.
Anyway, so far, not a bad show. It's everything that I thought Agent of Shield would have been.

I may be on the outside here, but I don't think Fury actually married a skrull. He made it known in the first episode that he can't tell when a skrull is pretending to be a human. 2nd she was in her true form until he got home. Of all people, why would she need to hide herself in front of him, especially if he chose to marry a skrull. Yes, it's a big reveal that he's been married for who knows how long, but a bigger reveal that the invasion has potentially entered his own home without him realizing.

It could also be a reference to the previous episode when he said to Talos 'I've met some good looking Skrulls, and you ain't one of them' She could be one of those good looking Skrulls he's met. In reference to her changing into a human form, he may know she's a Skrull, but any friends they may have might not. I loved this episode so much! I think that as a whole this episode was just so amazing. I am even more gripped to the story and invested in the characters. I felt like everything about it was perfect. Again the writing was incredible, the acting was fantastic, the tone was amazing and dramatic, and the music for this episode just felt had a real spy and espionage feel to it. I thought that the tone, writing and setting for this episode all came together really well to make this feel like such an impactful and engaging start to a story. I think that from just these first two episodes, it has already shown what a great show this will be. And I feel like I just cannot say enough just how great all the performances were in this episode. Each actor was giving an incredible performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. And the writing was just beyond amazing in this episode. Everything about the writing just felt perfect. It felt like every interaction scene or dialogue scene was fully fleshed out. They each had great dramatic moments and moments of tension and emotion. And it was all made even better through the actors incredible performances during these scenes. I honestly just loved getting to listen to the dialogue between the characters. Whether it was the train scene between Nick Fury and Talos or the scene between Nick and Rhodey, they were just written in such a perfect, engaging and entertaining way that I look forward to seeing more of it from this show. It was really cool to see that opening scene that took place in 1997 with young Fury and the Skrulls that first came to Earth. And they really hit us hard with the death of Maria Hill in this episode. I mean the opening shot from the present time of the episode is literally her dead body. Not to mention how we see a funeral procession for her and have to see her grieving mother. But on a more cheerful note, I loved Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth in this episode. Her performance was just so amazing, she was able to give off this cheerful attitude even while doing serious and severe things. Also the fight scene between Gravik and those Russian guards was awesome. Not only was it just all around cool, but it was well choreographed and really violent at times. I think it was a very good way to show how skilled and dangerous Gravik is. Also I feel like I’ve got to shout out the brutality of Sonya’s interrogation scene. Then in the final scene of the episode we get to see Nick Fury’s wife who was first teased in Winter Soldier. And on top of that we got the reveal that she is a Skrull. I am very curious to see where this moment will lead into next week’s episode. I am already loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see where this show will go next. I am very interested to see how Nick Fury’s story and the story of all the other characters will evolve and turn out through the course of this show. I cannot wait for next week’s episode.

This show is really doing it for me. Letting great actors be great is always gonna win me over. (Also, I love the longer breakdown and reviews at the end!)

This and armor wars wa the only shows I was interested in. Man I can’t wait for war machine to finally get some shine but this series is so well written. That scene between him and Sam was well done
