1997 Lexus ES300 Cigarette Lighter Fuse replacement

  • Got a penny jammed in the bottom of my cigarett lighter plug, since I keep change in the ashtray, and it blew the fuse. The clock on the dash was also no longer functional. Replacing the fuse fixed both.
    This is how you change the fuse.

    Fuse is good the armrest one works but the under the radio one doesn’t harness is getting power but it won’t work at all wires look good any suggestions?

    Can you replace that fuse with a 10 amp and it still work, or does it have to be 15??

    The ECU-IG fuse keep burning out for some reason. I don't know where to start looking.

      I still don't know. I haven't had a desire to trace it back, but it's not stock.

      @@FixitMys3lf don’t trace it I’m dealing with the same problem lol I got a 1997 Lexus es300 although mine has a red wire AND a green wire . I traced it back and it was connected to my security 😅
