@@AutotopiaLA This is kinda late to ask, I love your channel. I've been getting into the Mopar lineup for a bit now I was curious if the widebody was custom made or company made. The newer widebody doesn't really do it for me. Unless it's the Demon specifically then I love it.
I remember seeing that wide body in the movie when it first came out & just amazed by the look . Exactly what doms character would drive , can’t be stock lol
I don’t care how fast this is, it’s a piece of history and I’m glad I get to own a 2010 srt8. This is one bad ass car and just a reminder where and how far mopar has gone. My respect to the fast and furious franchise and Vin being a great ambassador of dodge👏🏻
I about lost it when I saw on of these widebody Challengers in the wild. Keep in mind I live in Washington state and was just exiting a local Target and just happened to see this cruising through the parking lot. I wish they would've shown more of this Challenger in the series. Thanks for posting this video!
geez in 10 years tech and these cars have changed a lot! i remember this widebody kit aside from seeing it in the movie. i liked the semi squared off fenders like oldshool muscle cars and the wider stance, i feel like dodge took the fenders off a crysler 300 and called it a "widebody" yeah it looks good but this kinda reminds me of a pro touring car in terms of looks
Yes sir you do listen, and I'm probably one of the Mopar enthusiast you were referring to once again haha 👍🏼. This vid is probably one of my faves and is the same black crystal paint as mine, except it's a 2010 and not stock. I really like your choice on this one and dig this channel a lot, so please keep em coming and appreciate you thinking of us when you produce these
What's the widest wheels and proper offset to use with this body kit? This is the kit that I want to buy. I'm hoping I can get 10in wide in the front and 12.5in at the back. What offsets would be good?
Probably underplayed or didn’t mean it but that generation can stock all round with 245/45 R20 for the wheels. Was not that skinny. Side by side with the R/Ts and SXT/GTs and it was a noticeable difference.
you are absolutely right autotopia La it's just not a friend it's family. And Sean since you was the first one to reach in you have the say grace. and I guess you will say you will bless us with more content/cool rides
Hey Shawn mate...have you ever questioned your decision or regretted that you mustn't have Camaro but Challenger?? Peeps complaint about Challenger being hard to manouevre around corners, if someone get go further then he can make some improvements in Challenger chassis.
I always thought that challenger was sharp when it first appeared at the end of fast five. Then to use it in the opening sequence of fast&furious6, I was sold on that car. I still want that car till this day.... I take it the shaker is non functional?
Hey Shawn does Dennis now own this car? The body kit on this is by Classic Design Concepts, just looks so cool brother! You had the whole Dom look down 👌🏼 💨💨💨💨
Am I the only one that doesn’t like it? I’ll take the newer Widebodys any day. The hips are too ehhh idk. They don’t look right. Talk about tacked on? This first Gen even in the movie would’ve been better without the Widebody. And that front needs a 392 Splitter. Cuz the 6.1 one isn’t aggressive enough.
😂 can’t say I agree. They’re fun car movies. I see a different perspective since my neighbor builds these and often times I get to be on set and see the incredible stunt guys at work
Great car, if I lived in America it’s the sort of thing I would have, or maybe an old Porsche. 👍 Ps I’ve never seen a Fast n Furious film and I had to google “mopar” 😎
Such an awesome looking ride! Damn thing puts down some nice power to. Nice video.
no doubt about that!
Thanks and yeah, such a cool version of the Challenger
R/T Life yeah it turned those 315s just fine, and wasn't even really getting on that hard 👍🏼
@@AutotopiaLA any way I can get this kit for my car

I'm super huge fan of Fast & Furious since it came out, You just made my day even better
Awesome!! I’m a huge fan as well
Dude! I thought I saw Vin Diesel driving around LA!!
😂 nope, it was me 😂
I love Challengers, especially mine '13 RT.
thick rubber and camber on that first gen wide body HEMI Challenger Hollywood movie star.....love it. America First ! :-)
They did this one right and it played so cool in the movie
Thanks for posting! Love Mopars and the older F&F movies!
You’re welcome. Those movies are always fun
@@AutotopiaLA absolutely! It goes without saying, but they'll just never be the same anymore.

R/T Life Hey I see you buddy! The hemi life is the best! 🤜🤛
This body kit looks so much better than just flares
Can you get the 1970 Dom's charger from the furious7?..it looks awesome..
Would love to but don’t know. Maximus built by Nelson is sick
maximus is a 68 though, round rear tail lights, open grille
The srt8 Challenger is a classic gem all motor.
Damn bro your job is so cool. How many times have I said that. Right !!! The sound and looks is enough for me.
Love it. This will be at FuelFest thanks to Chrome Cars
One of the most Famous and Badass Challenger ever exists. 🔥🌆
Best car movie franchise ever get it right 😤
Love how it picks the paint off the road at 1:23. That would be good in a movie.
One of my favorite fast and furious cars
Me too...especially in the opening of Fast 6
@@AutotopiaLA you think you can review Dom 1970 chevelle from fast and furious 4?
Nice ride
Yeah, Dennis gets it
RIP JOHN SINGLETON THAT WAS A NICE PIC OF HIM AN PAUL AN THE OLD OWNER OF THE CHALLENGER 💪🏾💪🏾🔥💯‼️🙏🏾RIP TO BOTH THEM MEN
Amen 👊
People love words when you recreate it let's talk - Kevin Hart I will recreate this car so excited
The 1st hellcat before the hellcat
One of my favourite cars of all the Fast movies!...
who would give you a thumbs down shawn? blasphemy!
My goodness cn imagine Dom with a most recent Challenger
Shawn: “would this one do a wheelie? Only if Doms driving” hahaha
Cool video Shawn nice to see another mopar !👍👍
Can you make an episode on the RB26 Mustang Fastback from Tokyo Drift?
I’d love to but have no idea where that car is now
I was hoping you'd go more into detail about the side panel, i would love to put that on my 2013 lol
Wait I thought this car had a supercharger since I heard it in the opening scene lol
What widebody is that and can you still buy it?
It was done for the movie. Don’t think it exists anywhere
@@AutotopiaLA it's a real kit from classic design concepts it's a little under 4k

We do listen and I’m glad you enjoyed this one. More Mopar and movie cars in the future I promise
Was his in the movie supercharged ? It sounded like it was during race at beginning
Yea it had a centrifugal supercharger bolted near the left headlight, a roots or twin screw supercharger wont fit since it has a shaker hood.
Widebody before widebody even existed wow
Maybe i missed it along the way in one of your video's: But whats the building filled with cars you walk through in your video's?
That’s my business. I do vehicle storage and related concierge services
@@AutotopiaLA So your close to the fire as we say in holland👌. Smart move and nice for us ordinary people 😄
Thanks for bring out this monster. Just like my 392. Also thank for the breakdown on the specs on Dom's Challenger
Glad you enjoyed this one 👊
Awesome 😍😎😱
Yeah, cool one for sure
I know of one of these for sale. But way more gnarly.
What exhaust is on this car because thats not stock
Typical with picture cars...very difficult to get details. Knowing Dennis most likely it’s Magnaflow
I didnt hype me with the wide design they did to that one. But I'm glad over the years they've designed unique looks.
Can you buy that widebody kit?
No. They did this for the movie only. Sorry
@@AutotopiaLA thanks for replying!
Who did the wide body? Was it custom? Does someone make this kit? Do you know anything about this car at all?
It's made by Classic Design Concept, and it is on production so you can buy it from them if you want 👍 I'm from Finland and I also like that body kit
This sounded really good in the movies
Sure did. Stock with exhaust but sounds and looks great on screen
Coolest car 🥳🥳🥳
I need that wide body kit. Anyone know the name?

i thought it would be stick but still badass
He select shifts the automatic in the movie scene racing Paul's gtr.
Now,I know Dom really had no chance to beat Brian's silver Nissan GT-R R35 in reality! Lol

wish dennis could sell me the wide body he created 🤣
I want them fenders 🤔
The one dom was driving was supercharged though

So perfect in the movie though

Tacky
the widebody is just plain ugly, horrible grey bits
