The buffet was wonderful. While it's a touch on the pricey side (the equivalent of a nice Vegas buffet), I definitely got my money's worth with all the seafood. I even got an extra fatty piece of prime rib in your honor. I hope you keep making these awesome buffet videos. I'll keep watching them!

Is the buffet a separate part of this establishment? I believe Saltys is a restaurant only
Hi Arthur, this is Salty's itself, and they offer this buffet only on the weekends. I hope you get a chance to try and if you do, make sure you check their site about timing and reservations as it gets pretty packed! All the best to you in the new year :-)

When is the buffet offered?
Sadly it's no longer offered but hope they will bring it back. They used to offer this on Sundays
How much per head?
EVELYN CROBALDE it's only available on the weekends and is about $60USD. Well worth it. I forget to mention it includes beverages as well. For a little extra, you can also get champagne/mimosas as well.
Totally overpriced. You can get a much bigger selection at Spirit Mountain Friday night seafood buffet for $27. You are paying for the view which isn't that great. Also expect to wait a long time to get a table. So my advice is to skip it unless $48 Sat/$52 Sun for a meal isn't a big deal to you.
is this place still in business
I believe it should be still in business... I went their last year the it was pretty busy during their Sunday brunch. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try (but only for their brunch buffet -- I heard their regular menu was average). Also, Portland has such a great variety of places to go eat, you'll have fun trying all the different offerings.

Hi Oscar, I'm really not sure if they are still opening this as a buffet.. when we went, they only offered this on the sundays ( maybe Saturday). I really hope they still offer this because it was great!

ok, I am going to yell out of my lungs lol! I can't eat meat, I am fasting! since its soon to be a easter... I am going to this buffet this friday! or next.... going for real eat a lot of sushi and crabs :) can't though eat meat... and by the way, this is my first time at this buffet

I like your videos but, don't you ever think that buffets are gross? I mean some people have really bad manners and pick up food with their fingers instead of utensils. Or let their kids go and get their own food with their hands i don't know i just can't do buffets besides i can't eat the price you pay for it. Having said that, I still enjoy you and your videos. And love seafood too😁 take care

But everyone there seemed very friendly and accommodating. And my favorite part of your video's, you not only show all the food. But how kind you are to everyone! I feel alittle bad about my comment, but after having a premie child who was very sick. Hygein was so so important. Thanks for all your great video's! !

Saltys (seattle), is a nice place to eat, but that is about the most mediocre buffet i have seen.
C.I. shenanigans in tacoma has an excellent brunch/buffett.

That's a weak ass seafood buffet. No king crab legs, no oysters, no sashimi, no lobster, have to peel shrimp etc. How can you call this an incredible seafood buffet? Have some self respect.
Danger Zone I can see the standards are high 🙂. Correct, no lobster nor King crab so maybe not that incredible... But rest assured, we'll be on the hunt for better and better buffets. Let me know if you come across a good one as well.
Looks like danger zone wants to eat for free.......my advice "stick to Chinese buffets....
and just noticed that this is before Portland and Seattle became a war zone, sadly, when the democrats bashed the police and cut back on police protection. i have heard, from friends, that it was a nice friendly place before that. we even sold our house, in va, to a family from Seattle, who got away from that craziness.
I haven't been to Portland in a while, but I do recall it was very friendly. Hoping to visit again and I think things should return to normal... it's been a tough couple of years 🙂
