I think the evolutions need some kind of tradeoff besides the number of cycles. I could picture lowering one of the stats working (for example, rg and firecracker could get an attack speed reduction) or they could increase the elixir cost. In the second case, they may have to introduce like half elixir costs to get them balanced
Best idea I’ve heard is someone suggested that the evolved card initially plays like the normal version of that card, and you have to spend 1 extra elixir to active its evolution, similar to champions’ abilities. And the cool part is that it gives you the option to wait for an opportune moment to use the evolved card, rather than being forced to play it every 2nd or 3rd cycle. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Lets say royal giant, for example: first RG i play is regular, second can become evolved after being played for an elixir cost. But let’s say i choose not to use it on the 2nd one - then RG #3 will still have the option to become evolved. Only after i use the evolution on #3 does the cycling mechanic resume, with RG #4 being regular, etc. In my view this would help balance the intrinsic brokenness of super-powered cards (due to the added elixir cost) while at the same time making evolutions even more useful than they already are without actually buffing them. That’s what i mean by it being a win-win.
I dont think FC needs a nerf but mighty miner does. Fc itself ofc overpowered Rn but all evos are gonna come out eventually and those are gonna be also op when evoed.But MM always gives faster cycle for fc and other potential op card, having too much HP and being able to switch lanes make it impossible to kill, and makes deck strong against beatdowns.
These evolutions need to be exclusively on the events tab so you can just use em for fun to farm season tokens or whatever.. I think they made a big mistake implementing these on the cards for good. Not to mention the lvl 15 dynamic which will prolly make me and a lot of people stop playing the game. I mean, i already barely touched Trophy Road just cause i dont wanna deal with it and the meta looks pretty stupid and repetitive...

I like this game for its diversety. (and they TOTALY killed all freedom) You can make all kinde decks and face all kinde decks. Those are the most fun. But you also have to face the standard 2.6 hog, 3.0 x-bow, or logbait. Those were the boring games as you face them all the time. With the evolutions you face only those OP decks. AND, You HAVE TO play them and the counters. Killing the free spaces you have for youre own creativity. With the evolutions the creativity is gone. And it is boring and sadening. Wish they never added evolutions. I am realy thinking about to stop (while I am a 14max player, with a lvl 15 tower). Thats also the next point. The firespirit is no treath anymore. (if playing ladder).
