Extremely helpful, gonna go do the job now. I appreciate you and your excellent videography skills for covering all the steps in detail. Also good taste in background music lol
Excellent step by step, and da music is well picked.on a project like this it's exactly what u want nice relaxing tunes if u ever had to deal with those crazy Nissan clips they use on everything, good work guys.
Great video thanks. I had a stupid body shop fix a small rear end accident to my Maxima 09 (I would assume given the Nissan body generation) that it's much similar job as the Altima. Received the car, now I have the meeting angle of bumper and tail light sticking out a bit. You think they messed up (or didn't tighten or used a garbage quality plastic clips) below the tail light? It's not a great misalignment but I can't get my eyes not to notice it.
Just one suggestion. The small screw driver is great to start the center of the clip then go to one larger to finish center and use it to remove the whole clip👍🤙😄.
Would you happen to know how to realign/readjust the front end bumper and fender covers?? as I’m very very limited on money and can’t replace them.. as far as I can tell the bumper and fenders covers aren’t physically damaged, but this is what I’m dealing with On my 2015 Altima on one side it looks pulled to far away from the door and raised and too close to the door and it’s getting worse.. could you help me figure out what I can do to either fix the issue or would I need to get it replaced? It would be super super awesome, and I’d be super appreciative if you could give some advice
John Wilson No it only comes with the side tabs to snap onto the rear bumper brackets.youll have to get those clips from the dealer. Especially for the ones in between the taillight and bumper. The ones down below you can always use ziptie.
Chris Jackson those black 2 peice clips are easier if you pull the inner pin all the way out. Pushing the grommet in without the inner pin is easier. Once it's in, you'll just have to push the pin in to spread the grommet to secure it. Keep in mind that a lot of the time the clips are either busted or has sand stuck in there so you'll just have to pull the pin as far as you can and work with what you have.
Theyre not all the same. I recommend talking to your local nissan dealers to get the proper clips. I dont ever buy universal clips from auto parts store but that is an option. Other than that, your cheapest route is always ziptie where you could.
I have the same color Nissan Altima it's a 2015, someone hit the bumper and cracked a piece off, from the wheel to the back corner is missing. But there is frame damage as it was pushed in about 4 inches. Their insurance is going to pay me for the damage.
Flat screw driver for the clips, preferably you want to use plastic trim tools on them so they wont break. If I remember correctly theres a couple of 8mm and 10mm too.

Thanks - I think you've given me the confidence to replace my rear bumper myself :)
Where’d you get your replacement from...?
Watched this to partially take off bumper and push out dents. Thank you!
Well done and a strong argument for the proper clip removal tool! 😀

About how long did this take? You guys are lifesavers. Some autobody shop was trying to charge me 2 grand to fix it.
I have the same dent on my 13 , is it less expensive and labor to just get it heated and molded back out.

The music had me expecting Clint Eastwood to show up on a horse
I thought hitmen were going to show up

Does it come with the clips. My bumper was missing when I bought it

How do you put the clips back in to secure everything?

Got one from salvage $53. Need to paint to match
Is removing the taillights necessary?
I dont think so, we just wanna make sure there's nothing behind it since its not that hard to remove.
Awesome video!
