Working in cold conditions poses its own challenges so I commend you video to instruct the masses who want to do this updated mod. You did a great job. I am have OCD as it pertains to my Z and I know dealership can do damage and you never know on an installation like this as they are hourly and just want to get done as quickly as possible. Wiping the car down and drying it are the extra steps that speaks volumes about the care, workmanship, and pride you have about your vehicle. Bravo!

On the transmission screw did you use a new bolt washer or I guess it called a crush gasket ?

I respect that you want your cvt fluid to always be clean, but trust me, you're wasting your money, i used to change it every 60 but that didn't stop the driven bearing to breakdown forcing me to do cvt rebuild/fix for it, I have Nissan juke 2012, Approx 220000 km And i drive on roads full of potholes and pumps i used a website called , cvt parts limited to get to broken part, Bearing code 17tm09u40al Part name was Jf015 Took me 40 hours to complete as it's my first time doing this kind of work, taking transmission out after the subframe, So just change oil and filters every 60000 and save money and hustle and pry it won't break on you

Just wanted to thank you. Have the same issue and yes it was fouled on the brace. Your Z is super clean underneath. Didn't think of using Jubilee clips on rubber bushings. Thanks once again.

The Nissan dealer did my son's 2011 Cube CVt at 60,000 miles 40,000 miles failed at 106,000 . Rebulit cost me $3500 I found out after the fact the Nissan dealers don't drop the pan & replace the filters inside! BS never again any CVT crap!

I've owned a 300ZX, 350Z, and 370Z, and then I bought a Cadillac ELR when their prices came way down after they were discontinued. The Cadillac was the most luxurious car I ever owned and very economical being an electric hybrid, but it just wasn't as fun to drive as the Z. I moved to a condo and had no place to plug it in, so I sold it and now own my second 370Z. The 370Z is the best car I've ever owned and I am retired now so I don't drive very much anymore, but my only complaint now that I'm getting to be an old fart is how low it is and hard to get in and out of.

My 2016 Nissan jukes transmission dipstick has the cap but no stick attached and I can't find it anywhere. Nissan said that they don't come with that, but I see yours in your video so do you happen to know where I can get one?
