@@coolguy2873 they aren’t unreliable if you ask me, all you have to do is keep up with maintenance like any other car and you’ll be fine, change your oil every 3k miles, change the actuators when they are worn, a couple sensors here and there and you’re golden, it may cost a bit more than other cars to maintain them but well worth it if you ask me

Adding the passengers to the M5 ruins the whole test. It confuses the issue on how well the M3 with those mods would run against an M5. If you have an M3 like this; are you going to ask every M5 you come across to add a couple of passengers before you race? Just run the cars as you would normally. If the M5 destroys the M3; then add the passengers to see how the outcome changes.

M5 power to weight = 3.66 kg/hp with driver = 3.81 kg/hp with 2 passengers = 4.1 kg/hp Not that big of a difference. Besides, with the passengers, the M5 still won.
Turbocharging and supercharging is obviously the better technology, but N/A... is just beautiful, sounds, pedal sharpness & response and cars with a soul. :)

Two different sounds, more of a super car feeling with 10 cylinders and more of a sport muscle feeling with 8 cylinders. Personally I think the v8 in the m3 is so badass, v10 you are getting your moneys worth but too much problems for the price of an m5

Driver skill has a big part. An M3 with a good driver can take an M5 with a crappy one. Plus DCT is a lot better than SMG.
e60 driver needs some more practice, I had an e60 m5 6 speed and modded or not I washed m3's all day

E60 has an SMG sequential manual gearbox
And the DoppelKupplungsGetriebe (DCT) in V8 M3 is also no torque converter, no slushbox, it is essentialy a more advanced SMG
