Holy crap, I had no idea Pilot TV was on RUclips! I only found out when it was mentioned on this week's episodes. I've been listening to the podcast for years and now I can actually see the presenters when they're speaking?? So freaking cool!
In my opinion, The Good Place ended so well, so tightly wrapped up, that gave everyone a sense of completion. Also, it was very plot-heavy, in a way that sitcoms aren't. It's like: you can imagine hundreds of situations that you can make new episodes of The Office, Friends, 30 Rock. But The Good Place doesn't leave room for that, I think
having you on youtube just made my day, thanks for pointing it out James, because the lip balm made me turn from my podcast to youtube. keep up the great work. and James his exclamation of Womack had me instantly going: you son of a B**** :-)
Well, it's called Frasier for one thing. The second thing is that James...or Mr. Talks. In. One. Word. Sentences as I like to call him ...has a very narrow field of TV interest and probably shouldn't be doing a podcast about TV.
James snobbery over non streaming shows hit a new low this week. Surely as a critic you need to be open minded for all levels of shows on any platform. I'm sure he fast forwards all review shows on ITV Ch 5 etc And stop interrupting Kay
@@CardiffOneOne There's a third camera in the studio but unhelpfully it was aimed between Boyd and Kay - capturing neither - so we weren't able to use that feed for this one. The positions are going to need some tweaking for the next one.

The finale is my favourite episode of TV
@@redflost it's so good
And I think Netflix distributed The Good Place the next day after aired on the US beginning with season 2
James's bald pate and those overhead lights make for an interesting watch
"One of the best dogs in the history of television." Oh Boyd...😂
Donna Lynne Champlin is, famously, Paula from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and she was fantastic there and she sings beautifully.

Great interview with Ruth!! ❤
30:35 The Blair Witch moment
Love that the pod is now visual as well! The Blair Witch moment deserves to be seen not just heard 😂
KAOS was great. They're missing out.
Also we need more foundation out ASAP
I see The Good Place references *all* the time though! I just think people think of it as less of a sitcom perhaps, more a .. feelgood thingie?
How is it possible that a TV critic has only seen a single episode of Frazier ?!

5 Cosmo Jarvis's
Omg Kay is not how I pictured her at all

"Not on our level"....Snobby London media elitism at its most absolutely nauseous.
Yes cameras angles are terrible, if you are going to do video...
They will fix it
@@vernyleeI suspect James had a certain amount of say in the camera angles.
