Just as I remember coming up as a kid. Shows the old hospital I was born in. Dad grew up there in the 60s, grandma grew up there in the 30s, and great grandparents lived there from 1910 until their passing.💕
In some ways Mountain Home has managed to keep it's "small town atmosphere", even though it is growing in leaps and bounds. It is becoming a "big little city". The city limits population hasn't shown a lot of growth, but the county's population has dramatically increased as retirees and famlies move to areas surrounding the city limits.
@@doninmichigan really? I guess that’s because old women live longer, I don’t notice. the only thing that changed is there are more druggies, and bozos making people uncomfortable. it’s only gonna get worse. So much for being a retirement place
I miss the mtn home of the mid 1980's. Best time and place to be a teenager.

Speaking of the Airport.....I remember when Lonestar Airlines flew into mountain Home. I actually flew on them twice into and out of Mountain Home.
I was born there in 1942. Will always love it.
Very nice piece of history there Bob, well done.
