I have a hard time getting a radio check too. they get tired of giving me a radio check I guess? or else nobody is out there which is entirely possible. the later in the day the less possbile for a answer.

I just had a Stryker sr-665hp. But the frequency for ch 19 is wrong 28.6900. Why? And how do I change it.
Would this radio be safe to run with a palomar elite 400hd?
Yes it has 4x Pills so it will handle the extra peak power well. Still have to keep the carrier low.
How many amps you drawing on power supply to run that 655 at total output
655 or 955? Which is better?
They are the same radio, except the 955 has side band.
Try pod are cheep
Does the radio have a SWR Cal manual adjustment feature on this second version or is it auto SWR like on the first version?
There is no Cal adjust and NO internal adjustment either. They have all been pretty close, they read between 2.8 and 3 when tested with a 3:1 load.
