Sir, obviously you are not a licensed and certified radio-operator like me or you would realize how wrong you are. Now go do some research and then come back and apologize to my viewers when you see the error of your ways.
Brother. I don't even explain to my new customers how to use their 2 way radios. I just refer them to your channel. "Some people" just don't understand lol. Thank you for your show
This was an important video, the idea came in the middle of a dream that awoke Randy and set him into a panic. So much, that he didn't bother to fix his hair. This is what dedication looks like.
And I thought you could only just walk, and talk on these little jewels of technology! One would think the name says it all but this channel has opened my eyes to so many more possibilities. On a serious note your eval. of how to hook up these jewels was so complete I couldn't comment on more helpful info. I thought I could but this time I waited to the end of the video.
Thank you for showing how to turn on roger beep. I didn't know this (new guy). I've turned it on on all my radios, now people will know when I'm done talking! Very handy! I don't have a ham license so I didn't know any of this info. Great channel!
When I didn't have a dedicated mobile in my truck I used a handheld as a mobile. It worked great for getting into my local ham repeater. I was thinking about just getting a mag mount GMRS antenna and getting a battery eliminator for use with my deer camp friends, but I found a great deal on a used 25 watt mobile I couldn't pass up.
I always use the bofangie thingie for car to car coms just use a out side antenna up to about 2 miles or so .🥳🥳 Great channel Sir Va3 auo not a sad ham lol
That's currently how I have my vehicle setup: Leixen UV-25D radio, Nagoya magmount antenna, and ofc speaker mic. Would love to get one of those "FCC license cards".
I've been running my GM30 with an external 6DB antenna atop my automobile around ' Merica now for thousands of miles. GMRS channel 19 has not yet caught on. But keep pushing it, it is a good idea.
Yes you can & it costs way less & is easier when “on the go”. I have a Gmrs license, general class ham license & I use a cheap/but very capable baofeng HT in my pickup, with a $16 speaker mike…it works great😎. If needed, I have an external NMO mount antenna on my hood, with the coax running through the firewall to the cab…where I connect to my HT😊
First 2m radio, HW-202, ran as mobile with ext. speaker/mike, 1/2 wave on roof, and the R.S. 2m amplifier in glove compartment. Worked very well, actually.
What a video of just plain amazing informations and fact. There was at least 3 or 4 different christmas eggs in here to just slap my knee at. My sweaters off to you sir!
really loved this video and it has info i needed... i would love for a followup video where you review/recommend which handheld mics to use. There are tons of cheap ones but I'm not sure which ones will be crap like you mentioned or how expensive i need to go. Also, I'm not sure which ones have an interface which will let me hang it in a mount in my jeep. Thanks for the videos!
What a great video, training people to spread spurious emissions all over the place with cheap Chinese radios, Well done!!! Don't break a tooth on that pencil.
Mr Nota, please move to Texas, we have these beautiful things called Trees, make sure you move to east Texas not the desert part we should've given back to mexico. You can bring your wife but not her boyfriend
You know with all the people buying Baofeng radios or similar. You would think Baofeng would come out with a radio with end of days, prepping, survivalist, and tactical in mind. Something totally different is needed. Something we don't need a license. Something we can use and stay off of all common channels. Just an idea baofeng, 80% of Baofeng sales right now is by preppers and so on. Thanks for another great video.
Good vid Randy. I’m setup with one of my Baofeng UV-5G’s using the Midland - MXTA26 MicroMobile 6DB Gain Whip Antenna attached with the Handheld Antenna Cable SMA male to UHF SO-239 Female Connector.
Oh hell yeah the mag mount and jumper are a big game changer its nearly as good as a mobile. Like you said get a good jumper those cheap ones dont last very long even if youre careful. The rg58 coax most of those mag mounts come with is leaky but its not long enough to really matter to be honest.
Thanks for the video. You covered Pacific radios very well. I live on the east coast and have an Atlantic radio. Is it the same procedure for Atlantic radios? 😂😂😂😂
So this has one as advantage no one talks about. That is, you can transmit and receive on FRS channels 8-14. Mobile units, by law cannot. Some can listen to those channels, but all cannot TX. I don’t have an off road group or anything, but I travel a lot and leave my radio on scan. When I’m stuck in traffic or just looking to chat, most people out there in caravans or travel groups are using FRS bubble pack radios. Sometimes they have info or can see things I can’t. I want the flexibility of being able to communicate with FRS users AND GMRS users. I’m going to wire up my GM-15 Pro with a battery eliminator and a midland ghost antenna.
I find my laird cellular antenna work's pretty good for most frequencies and im getting a few sma adapters tomorrow so i can make it my permanent install go to antenna for my tv or my radios or rtl sdr
i currently use a baofeng 1701 dmr handheld with a mag mount antenna, hand mike and cigarette lighter adapter as my quasi mobile. i can work any of the local fm repeaters and the dmr repeater. in town i am never more than 10 miles from a repeater.
Get the Midland MXTA26 Mobile GMRS antenna here: amzn.to/3M4saar Get the magnet-mount NMO antenna base I use here: amzn.to/4fN1MiY Get the low-cost version of the FarsoMeter 2000, the SW-102 SWR & power meter, here: amzn.to/3X6el1P Like the shirt? Get it here: amzn.to/4cr5MCX
Ummm, minor point I think you meant Faraday cage not Tesla cage...
Not a "some people" comment just trying to help out. 😎
Sir, obviously you are not a licensed and certified radio-operator like me or you would realize how wrong you are. Now go do some research and then come back and apologize to my viewers when you see the error of your ways.
yea.... we're waiting donut slayer
😂
He obviously drives a Faraday.
@@TheNotaRubicon *HAHAHAHAHA*
The only channel i love because i never know what to expect 😅
This channel has taught me to watch 2 or 3 videos before commenting. LOL.
Brother. I don't even explain to my new customers how to use their 2 way radios. I just refer them to your channel. "Some people" just don't understand lol. Thank you for your show
PACIFIC. LMAO.... LOVE IT! When an Atlantic or Polar radio just isn't good enough, get YOUR Pacific radio! AWESOME humor, Randy!
Great video, love the hair dew, the FCC license with the LA County call sign, and the FJB message on the radio. Keep em coming Randy!!
Love the subtle things, like the background picture changing :) That ID was f'kn amazing.
"Mobile tesla cage" for the win.
You drive me nuts swinging those radios around by the antenna😊
Just got my HAM license. I promise I’ll never be one of “those people”. Love your stuff brother.
❤I made my own antenna today for my car out of a coat hanger! Yay! Saved me many monies.
Ah the memories. The coat hanger antenna was a mandatory accessory to the $100 cars of my youth,
I parked in front of a Planned Parenthood the other night and someone stole my coat hanger antenna. *sad face*
Did you cut it to the appropriate lengths to get the appropriate amount of fars whilst using this homemade coat hanger antenna???
A 19" coat hanger will be good for 2m and 70cm.
How many fars did it get you?
Did you get any bloods opening to?
This was an important video, the idea came in the middle of a dream that awoke Randy and set him into a panic. So much, that he didn't bother to fix his hair. This is what dedication looks like.
I'm so glad I found your channel! Your humor is top notch sir!
You crack me up! Keep up the fun times!
And I thought you could only just walk, and talk on these little jewels of technology! One would think the name says it all but this channel has opened my eyes to so many more possibilities. You Are The G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) Radio Man On RUclips!! Keep The Videos Coming Brother!! Thanks!!
The busted pencil cracks me up.
Thanks for the info, not a rube!
Thank you for showing how to turn on roger beep. I didn't know this (new guy). I've turned it on on all my radios, now people will know when I'm done talking! Very handy! I don't have a ham license so I didn't know any of this info. Great channel!

I cracked up with the little FJB Easter egg that popped up.
Yea
Randy, she knows all about working on her hands and knees. Also great marital responsibilities. Stay safe....
I always use the bofangie thingie for car to car coms just use a out side antenna up to about 2 miles or so .🥳🥳
Great channel Sir
Va3 auo not a sad ham lol
FARSOMETER 2000 for the win !
Your license is the best part of this video.
"valid for trolling purposes only" - gotta get me one. Will you be offering them on your merch page?
I love your humor. Alot of dummies don't get and you put them on blast for it.
Randy Rocks.
This guy has taken sarcasm to an ultimate entertaining art form, even inventing new words, and coming up with new uses for old words.
I fully expected the video to end at 00:32 🤣
That's currently how I have my vehicle setup: Leixen UV-25D radio, Nagoya magmount antenna, and ofc speaker mic.
Would love to get one of those "FCC license cards".
I've been running my GM30 with an external 6DB antenna atop my automobile around ' Merica now for thousands of miles. GMRS channel 19 has not yet caught on.
But keep pushing it, it is a good idea.
I'm really appreciating this info in these trying times rn (right now)
Its all about the hands.... love this channel!😁
Lots of good useful information in your video. Thank you for all the work you put into it
that big black cable got me good
I like the FJB at 11:39. Nice.
I like the Queen Latifa pic.
Look again, That is not QL.
A beast of some sort.
@ColoRadio6996 it was a joke. Sure doesn't look like Kamala.
Yes you can & it costs way less & is easier when “on the go”.

Mr Randy, love the card, "pacifically" the last line.
Seriously good words on how to further use the handhelds! thank you!!
I love the Boofwang radio image!
Did this all day today with little issue, but I was in the manliest of Jeeps.
really loved this video and it has info i needed... i would love for a followup video where you review/recommend which handheld mics to use. As always, amusing and informative. Many Thanks!
KMG 365 callsign / number. Priceless!
Love the hair Randy! 😂 😜
What a great video, training people to spread spurious emissions all over the place with cheap Chinese radios, Well done!!! Don't break a tooth on that pencil.
Show me on the Baofeng where the spurious emissions hurt you.
Oh boy, the sad hams will be much triggered on this video.... "Tesla Cage" LOL!!!!!!!! Great video as always!
Haha you look like you’re in the film “cast away”😂 Love the videos!🙌🏽🙌🏽
Mr Nota, please move to Texas, we have these beautiful things called Trees, make sure you move to east Texas not the desert part we should've given back to mexico. You can bring your wife but not her boyfriend

So a $10 Walmart FRS radio.
Good vid Randy. I’m setup with one of my Baofeng UV-5G’s using the Midland - MXTA26 MicroMobile 6DB Gain Whip Antenna attached with the Handheld Antenna Cable SMA male to UHF SO-239 Female Connector.
Is that a picture of the Border Czar?
Willie's porn queen :)
I had no idea there were different flavors of antennas. Mind blown.
Randy now looks like he just come back from a 2month trip in the wilderness.
Oh hell yeah the mag mount and jumper are a big game changer its nearly as good as a mobile. Like you said get a good jumper those cheap ones dont last very long even if youre careful. The rg58 coax most of those mag mounts come with is leaky but its not long enough to really matter to be honest.
I also use a BTECH Amp-U25 Amplifier for more power and penetration with my unlocked Baofeng HT Radios in my very trick truck.
So is the "Pacific radio" you mention only available on the West coast?
I dont need a Pacific adapter because here in CT, we use Atlantic adapters.
Sir, you need to do these videos after drinking the coffee, rest a little, and comb the hair! 😂
He did comb his hair. That's his "Johnny Rotten" look.
He added some nose sugar to that coffee.
lol my husband is a Cowboy and he never combs his hair lol
Extremely disheveled like a homeless HAM operator living in the car-
good stuff, seems like an affordable set up
Gotta love Amazon. I was reading the detailed specs on the MXTA26 and it notes that it requires 6 AAA batteries. No wonder it has so much gain. 😳
...and if you hurry you can be the first to catch them and report them to the FCCs... made me laugh 😂
Good to know about the channel 19 convention for highway use
I’m diggin the new hairstyle 😎
Lol! Ending was the best part
Bro, that pencil you use as a pointer cracks me up! Are you by any chance going to the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion this year?
Thank you again for a very informative video Stay safe.
The broken pencil gets me.
Where do you recommend buying the antenna adapter you spoke of?..Thanks for all the great onfo you share.
Oooooh... blinky lights!! Pacifically, what flavor are they??
Which pigtail do you like the best?
Love the "ID card." 🤣
Any advice on a setup for my bicycle?
Love the hairdo!
You are funny dude
Mobile Tesla cage had me on the floor
love the videos keep it up 👍
Is their antenna that does both arms and ham

Thank you for the education
Always refer to your product ligature, it's the official " how-to " use guide and will contain all of the exclusions to your product warranty.
Great, now I have to buy a new GMRS radio so I can remove the antenna without getting reported!
Dang Randy. The last time my hair looked like that people kept asking me if someone was looking for me.

7:41 I know you live in California, but I live in New York. Do I have to buy an Atlantic connector?
Where did you get your physical license card?
Oh man, I needed that! 😂
Love the hair!
Yes, Love is in the hair
Any chance of a review of the new Radioddity GM-30 plus w/ GPS? I can't wait!
Can we start a pool on when the pencil gets to the metal band?
Ok, ID card, classic, I LOL'd...." KMG365" . fantastic reference to Emergency! love it. hail Randolopho Mantootho
I like the message when you turn on the radio, but now need to be modified to FKH😂
Can I buy this exact setup as a kit online? 🤔
this pencil looks better than the last vid. 😂. thats my only worry... pencil offroad safe and kindly untouched. 🤣
Will I get more fars when transmitting in the car or shower?
Still the king
Will you be reviewing the new BTECH UV-Pro?
