Waow, thank you so much for this video. I have learned a lot since I was referred to you by first Lady Monono. I think one of your first recipes I read was how to make Achombo. Though I knew how to make it then but I ameliorated in the way I used to fry my beans. Thanks. May God bless u. Am your fan

Thanks for the recipe Aunty Pre. I tried this out but wasn't as good as yours. The back was hard and the inside was a bit dense. Please where do you think I went wrong???
Hello precious I watch some of your videos and I love your recipies I think your recipe for donut is one of the best I watch so far.I going to try out.
Thanks for the video. Please i wish to know why after using your recipe, my doughnuts always crack open when i fry them.It looks more of burns than drop doughnuts. Is there something i'm not doing right?
Hi Precious, i wanted to surprise my husband as today is his birthday so I decided to add doughnuts to the list of things I am cooking since he likes anything flour, but I couldn't get the shape right. they were just flat instead of round. Did I get the mixture wrong or is it because I added some water. I even tried to use a teaspoon it didn't turn out right. I also tried to cut it like puff puff still no improvement with the shape.
Gerrie D the key is to use my exact measurements. That way, you are sure the mixture is okay. Please check the description box of the video for the exact measurents. Meanwhile, about getting the shapes right, try this: deep a teaspoon into oil then scoop some of batter and place into hot oil to fry. Hopefully this helps.
Hello Precious, please I tried this recipe and it came out well but the doughnuts soaked a lot of oil. How can I prevent that??, because I intend trying another batch. Please I need your advice
Make sure your oil is hot enough so the doughnuts do not soak up oil. Avoid letting the oil get too hot though because the doughnuts will get brown on the outside while being raw on the inside. You'll have to regulate the temperature of the oil as you go. Hope this helps.
Correct me if I'm wrong but my mum puts a lot of eggs in doughnut as in 10 eggs plus in a kg of flour n it's really really nice. Do u think it's too much? Lots of love from Dubai
Fonkeng Dolly so sorry for the late answer, dear. I think 10 eggs for 1 kg is too much. But again that depends of how much of the other ingredients she puts. It may be that she uses less of the other ingredients so the mixture balances well. Maybe you should ask her for exact measurements of the other ingredients.

I use the standard American measuring cups. 1 cup of flour equals 125 grams. I cup of milk equals 240ml. Hope this helps.
Is your cup of milk equivalent to 250ml??
Yes.
My doughnuts turn out like puff puff, they're not fluffy. What could be the cause?
