    My aunt used to be a hairstylist and she taught people how to do hair she says heat protectant isn't really necesary if ur not gonna use heat on your hair everyday! She says if you are gonna be using heat like a curling iron etc, that you need to use heat protectant! Hope that helps! ☺️

    Didn't she say to NOT flat iron in large sections?

  • @user-ke7pz7hz8g

    No offence but the end result for her hair looks like how my hair looks after i dont wash it in a week... Usually when I straighten my hair, its really soft and smooth but it seems that she uses a really high heat so the hair sticks together, I keep mine at a low heat.

    She clearly doesn’t have frizzy/curly hair bc if I brush mine after straightening it it goes back to being bushy

    Another thing is DONT flat iron damp hair... Like Holy Sh** her hair is damp the whole time and you can see it. That fries your hair and causes breakage, best to wash hair and braid it or put into a pony tail low on the head and add elastic bands along the length, and flat iron the following day /morning.. If possible

    • @CandisCardenK
      @CandisCardenK 9 лет назад +1

      She said not to have it damp because it fries it.

      Her hair is just very dark, it’s shiny, so it seems damp. Couldn’t you have given her the benefit of the doubt before assuming she’s dim-witted?

    I appreciate the effort to do this but she doesn't have curly hair so wtf how is this relatable to every hair type

      It helps people like me..I have straight hair but mine is a little on the fluffy side, frizzy ect...it just isnt that soft so to see how it works on different hair textures helps...her hair does look different after she uses that iron..it does look straighter and softer as if it changed the hair strands/texture

    Lol what.
    I flat iron my hair at 350, and I do it with two passes, I have very very thick hair, it usually takes me 35 minutes just to get it done, blow drying is so much longer

    Don't tip: Don't weigh your hair down like she just did. 😂😂
    For thin, Caucasian hair use the lightest amout. Or just deep condition before so you won't have to use heat protectant at all.

    • @Elizabeth-sk1qq
      @Elizabeth-sk1qq 6 лет назад +2

      Linna XO what about thick Caucasian hair? It's my first time using this thing and I have 4 inch thick hair. Lol

    • @danielasilva5945
      @danielasilva5945 4 года назад +3

      this was a year ago but anyway, for thick Caucasian hair you can deep condition your hair before straightening it, and then after you can add oil to it. It's what my Brazilian friends do

    I would say spray your hair with water and run the water through your veins to get it soaked(a little) around your hair.

    what kind of hair straightner are you using? i bought 2 straightners and they always seem to stop working after 1 year. They just don't straighten fast enough. I used the Jose Eber and the other one i cant remember i just threw it away.

    How does one deal with the hairs that stand up on top of your head when you’re done flat ironing your hair?

    • @Elizabeth-sk1qq
      @Elizabeth-sk1qq 6 лет назад +4

      Karimee Tello I usually just pin them down or use a tiny bit of water. Hopefully that helps! 😁
