Your videos have been so helpful. I found a 70's bride and ballerina in a bag at the thrift store for $2.99 with all their clothes and accessories. I love them so much but they are my first 70's Barbie since I normally collect 80's Barbie. Also, your separated paper towel for curls works perfectly. I must have found you at the right time because I also bought a couple of patterns to make a few of my own doll clothes. Can't wait to see what you do next!
That is awesome! I’m so happy to see you’re here. I have more videos coming of vintage Barbie too, so I hope to see you around! That’s so exciting to find vintage Barbie’s!
Are you a hair stylist by any chance? The way you style Barbie’s hair is incredible!✨ I wanted to ask you how you maintain your collection when they are on display? I struggle with how often to remove them from their shelves and dust them and the shelves. It’s such a pain! How often do you??
Aww thank you! I am not, although I do my own hair so i definitely could be if I wanted! I constantly change their clothes and positions of where I want them. So they don’t get too dusty. I also try to have more fashions than dolls so that way I have fashion options! But dusting wise every month the shelf does get clean.
Would this be the same process in fixing the thatch even when they have the bangs in the way? I have a 1960s Skipper whose bangs need to be flattened, but some of the hairs near the bangs have gone kinda crazy and want to hang out with the bangs. If that makes sense.
@@Stellar_Drift yes it would!! On my most recent weird Barbie video, I actually showed how to do bangs. With vintage skipper, she has a single part thatch, and they brushed the middle together to make the bangs if that makes sense. Depending on if your skipper has saran, you can boil wash them down. But if they’re not, you can use hot water, mixed with diluted gel.
Very cool. I love doll hair play. It’s so relaxing to sit on the couch and do a doll’s hair. Thanks for showing us the thatching. 😄
Aww thank you for being here and watching!
This is interesting. I have never the dolls part line explained in this manner. Thank you so much for sharing.💕💕

@@disneybarbiegirl615 That's great. I'll watch that video. Thank you 😊
Doesn't the plastic wrap melt when you pour boiling hot water on her??
Nope!
