The lioness was gorgeous, but the cheetah was pretty special. We didn’t see any cheetahs when we were at Mashatu - perhaps because we DID see plenty of leopards! 🤔
Jean, I was as surprised as anyone to get the cheetah that day. Funnily enough they moved off shortly after that and have not been seen since. However the result (of biology) is a cheetah mother with 4 cubs in Mashatu now!
I have been watching C4 videos on my TV. They are very informative and educating. I have watched this particular video twice now. I have Canon R7+Canon 100-400 + Canon rf 1.4 TC and Pentax KP with 55-300 mm, 16-50 mm, and even 10-17 mm fisheye. I was wondering if I have adequate gear as an enthusiast to go on a safari.
Which was your favourite sighting that Shem came across?
This channel is one of the most helpful about wildlife photography!
Thank you- Lovely to hear. Shem
Well done Shem! Loved the video! All of the animals in Africa are amazing, but seeing the cheetah with that golden light was my favorite!
Many thanks ruby. Very different to cattle of South Sudan, yet golden light remains golden light... Hope to see you on the continent again soon.
Awesome video Shem. would love to see more of these. Mashatu looks amazing.
More to come!
