Thank you again for keeping the shows coming.
You got it man, thanks for always taking the time to watch and comment.
Thanks for posting Michael. After one of your previous bearing jobs l purchased a bearing grease tool from the Jungle store. It did make the job much easier. I unfortunately broke it but l was able to finish the job. Was surprised by your re-using the Bearing Buddies as yes you have chatted about your dislike for them. Understanding that this trailer and boat are on a restricted budget for now. As always your video either shows a new little trick or reconfirms a process l presently use. Thanks again for the enormous amount of time you invest into your channel for us all to benefit from. As we get older we do get smarter, so don't over heat yoursel, we are not 20 years old anymore. Looking forward to the next part in this series.
Cheers
Cheers
we shall see if I regret the bearing buddies on this one for sure, thanks for watching. Your comment is much appreciated.
Fantastic video!!! Can’t wait to see how you get the tree dent out!!!! Great job👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Us too! I'm hoping to be successful at it. Thanks for watching
I just know you will find a way!!! Can’t wait to see it in the water!!! I will be good!!!
your one heck of a machnic, thanks for the great videos,
Wow, thanks! You are much too kind, thank you for watching
Awesome video 👍👍like always. I know you want it on the water and It will get on the water when the time is right. Cause you are right it is better to check and make sure things are good before taking it out even the little things .. Just like if you didn’t take the time to fix the rollers you wouldn’t have found the crack and I know the frustrations of trying to get projects done. And sometimes it feels overwhelming. Stay safe and As always Sir thanks for the ride along and Keep’em coming
Very true! We'll get her done for sure, thanks for watching
Just a few more things to do and you are on the water and I agree with not getting over heated in the hot weather, I have done that and it’s not pretty. Stay safe and healthy and I am looking forward to the shake down cruise on the lake
Thanks
Tim
It's hard to be this close but I have to practice some patience for sure. Thanks for watching
Sometimes life deals you a rough hand but keep up the good work it will get on the water when it's meant to be
Absolutely, thanks for watching
when you roll down the road the hubs get warm. you dunk it in cold water to launch everything contracts causing a vacuum. the seal lips are designed to prevent leakage not vacuum sucking the stuff outside(ramp water) in. some hubs you can double seal with the outer (axle side) flipped to prevent that. seen years ago actual boat seals made with the double lip.
I have purchase double lip seals before, you are very correct, thanks for your comment and for watching
Digital multimeter set on continuity should be able to identify if the brown wire is indeed your tachometer and your new manual should tell you where it connects on the motor. Enjoyed your videos now to go get caught up the other channel
Thanks for the info! and thanks for watching
Alter is alternator/ stator... it's for the tach and different outboards have different poles on the stator. Johnson/evinrude for example have 6. You connect it according to your particular motor.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching
The 2 holes on either side of the drain plug are livewell fills. Probably had a front and back one time.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching
12 pole alter setting means the brown wire should be.hooked to the yellow stator wire on the rectifier. If the brown wire is hooked to the switch box the tach won't work on that setting.
buying so many boats as you do it might pay to make a mirror on a pole, like the bomb squad, and fit a pencil torch to it to light up dark areas, saves you kneeling down on gravel, or rain saturated ground to inspect hull and keel, jut a thought.
Thanks for the idea, and thanks for watching
Do not spin a bearing with air hose pressure it can spin so fast it will fly apart. Other than that, I always enjoy your videos.
Oh yeah, I know, I don't spin them very fast at all, thanks for watching
can you push the dent out with 2 bits of wood and a car jack ?
I do have a plan, it will involve a generous amount of heat, thanks for watching
