These videos are getting better all the time. What are you, Hollywood? Love the opening graphics and the overlaid visuals and the insane sounds of these 3 generations of HD. Which one is best? I guess all of them! Thank you for all of this content!
this is high art. i'm going to be buried with my mk2. which v do you tend to reach for first for those spine tingling deep fm tones? that mk3 and 2 cross modulation was some sweet action. hey, any tips for types of CV to throw at the tracking jack, in any mode, for that robotopsy flavor? haven't got my head around that one yet. kind of at a loss when doing melodic stuff. might have to just let go of all that and get dark. hope you can get around to the new bionic lester, scotts video with dual comb filters was SICK
I ordered 2 BL MKIII so expect lots of filter feedback ! for the tracking jacks I suppose it's for the MKII ... I dont really use it so this meens I'll be studying this in a few days .
great video! The only option I can purchase is the mkIII. Worth waiting for a mkII or will I be fine with mkIII? Looking for fat, thick, organic fm sounds in the buchla 261e style. What's your opinion? mkIII will work or better look for analog complex osc? Thanks!
I had to sell my HD2 due to hard times. I still have the HD3 but they are sooo different. I’m def gonna get another HD2 when I can. They’re both gnarly in their own way. What differences are there between v1 and v2 tho? They seem to be more of evolution than revolution on the digital complex Osc scheme
I'll like using my 2 HDMKII for simplexe chords with the argos bleak. The v1 hasan amazing sonic character I was really impressed and most of all the v1 is like the MKIII and MKII in scale when fully counterclocked the main knob . very useful for quick tuning with the argos and stillson hammer..
@@kevinb1986 It's still on my ''To Do'' list. I was just waiting for the next firmware to be released. and also if Zach is about to make a tutorial on the Argos Bleak, I don't see the need to repeat the same infos. But you may have convinced me to push this on top priority. :D :D
can anyone explain what Stilson Hammer is doing in patch4, seems to be causing a warble, is that purely affecting the v/oct? or some other mod parameter?
From what I remember. Gate probabilities of the Stillson hammer mk2 will trigger envelopes sent to some modulation of the HD mk1 and a small amount of Cross mod from the Double Andore mk2.
@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 ooooh thanks for that memory. since Stilson is unobtanium these days i'm wondering if the Oxi One sequencer could do some similar tricks with sending envelopes. just ordered a HD mk3 this weekend, am still chasing ur super sick Kermit/Hertz kick with similar warble.
I stupidly traded my Mk2 a while back, and then tried to replace it with a Mk3 but I miss the Mk2. It's dirtier and has more character, and is more immediate... I'm not a fan of the Mk3 preset system. The Mk3's waveshapers are really great though. But now I'm curious about the Mk1 too...
Godly Fucking Patching
That last one was phenomenal
Yeah! 30 minutes with Teddy Ruxpin and the three generations of Hertz Donut! Can’t ask for more! 🔥🐻🔥

I’ve got a Hertz Donut mk2 in the mail. Really looking forward to using it.
It's an amazing module. you might want to check the Battle ship sessions I made with my friend Plurmk using only the HD MKII as sound source.
@@robotopsyrobotopsy6486 I have . I listened to it in my car. Really good, the battle ship idea is killer also.
Beautiful

Robotopsy Robotopsy you’ve got to make an Argos video. I feel like there’s so much I’m missing out on by guessing and checking on my own with it

What reverb are you using? Sounds excellent.

The MK1 is really good and mine also got the pretune feature when the freqency knob is fully closed.
I like all 3
