At last the true story of Deadman's Corners, plus some other stuff. Big rocks, old oil field stuff, home of the Indian Doctor, old coal mine and a sawmill.
Thank you SO much for this video! Carl Wassink sent me the link to this and one other video of yours because Levi Clough was my grandfather and I am researching his life. I have only recently started to delve into his Railroad endeavors! He was a very interesting man. One thing - Levi and his son, Levi, Jr. (my father) always told people how to pronounce “Clough” by saying it rhymes with “rough, tough, and enough!” Thank you again for your work - it is fascinating!
Great story about Deadman. Infesting he got sent to Dixmont State Hospital. It is (was) a couple blocks from my house in Emsworth, PA along the Ohio River!
I called it a one lung, a single cylinder also know as a hit and miss. When I was a kid in the early 60s there was a lease near our home that still used them. Could hear them for miles when conditions were right.
I just cannot get enough of what you do
I really enjoy seeing so many places that are dear to my heart.
I have a camp off Cemetery Road. Enjoy your Videos. Thanks!

Thankyou so much for shedding the light on this area!!
Thanks for the backstory on Deadman's Corner, often wondered how it came to be called that.
Really enjoying your videos since I found them. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you. But this isn't work, it's fun.

No not a stock tank that is what is a separator it separates the oil and water oil is lighter than water so the oil floats on top of the water
What about frog rock??
When you say one one engine, do you mean hit and miss? I've never heard of it being called one one.
I've always heard them called hit and miss as well
