I love the video, Former army grunt I would love to see some CAS rolls. After witnessing a show of force IRL I can help but love what you guys do. This is the best PTSD therapy. Hooha!

That was a ton of fun to watch. I have done a little flight sim stuff but never fathomed being able to actually fly under the guidance of an actual viper pilot.

Great, these kind of videos are really good, and educational for us sim pilots / wanna be pilots. Thank you, and if you have time and inspiration please do more, would love to see how you guys used to practice procedures etc.

its pretty fun and insightfull to see you guys do this. for arm chair pilots it gives you some insight in these procedures and try for yourself. especially if you dont feel like doing shooting on a weekly evening.

Great stuff! Wish we could practice stuff like this with DCS AI. Always wondered how to properly do big turns in formation like that.

Maybe about 24 hours ago in Bangladesh, 9th April morning, a yak-130 crashed into a river where two pilots successfully ejected. A squadron leader and a wing commander if I'm right. It was maybe a training flight, but one of the pilot, the squadron leader ranked died of heart attack on the spot, because locals nearby rescued him on a boat.

How much pattern work do you do in real fast jets? If any? I mean touch and go-s. Few runs in a dual seater and ... by that time not more is needed is there?

Aside from G’s and feeling airspeed, movement of the jet, how accurate is DCS?

  • @mcloutier5

Did you see the flybys of the russian jets yesterday? Kinda shaky compared to Snowbirds and Blue Angels, even the guys who fly the Harvards over my house.

Tik Tok in the cockpit leads to uncommanded roll and loss of control... Chinese hackers, man.... (for legal reasons, this is a joke)

What do you think about a heart attack after ejection? Can it really be a bs by the authorities or for real?

I think the HUD is washed out simply because it's a simulation and the real jet has its own HUD image generator which is capable of plenty of brightness even in full daylight conditions. It's real world HDR. I don't even know if DCS currently supports HDR. As a workaround, someone should come up with a mod for DCS that automatically changes the HUD color for maximum contrast vs. what's being viewed through the HUD, or alternatively be able to change the HUD color manually. Which I can do on Falcon BMS. (Which is still the most realistic F-16 simulation, not DCS.)

And there was foam coming out of his mouth, with the harness for chutes fresh on him. Authorities stated that he died of heart attack after the ejection. Now most people saying that it's bullshit refering to his fitness as a young fighter pilot. I have pictures and videos of crash and the dead pilot.
