I think in part this is why CDL isn't nearly taken as serious as other esports by gamers in general.
Like Halo's Esport scene feels more professional than CDL. Its like small stuff in CDL just makes me feel like its skill based gameplay is only skill cause they are purposely nuzlocking COD's features. Small stuff like you can't mount behind cover that is like. Bruh XD its a part of COD and a feature to be able to mount onto just about any corner surface. THIS IS A MILITARY SHOOTER! You should be able to then to compete like how a soldier in comp and in game. Hell R6S feels more tactical and thrilling than CDL.
Realism should never be a justification for something being featured in a competitive leagues with millions of dollars on the line. Mounting is a free one-button headglitch and zero recoil. It has no place in competitive play.

The Octane one was INSANELY shit, but to be fair if London had any decency at all they would've told one of their AR's to leave the game and make it a 4v4. (Not sure if Octane was a sub or AR didn't watch much of that COD, so whatever his gun role was.) Of course after the league said there wouldn't be a replay.

UMG, CWL, CDL, they make competitive cod not competitive and not fun anymore. They just fine people bc they can, no good reason. As son as a player speaks out about it, FINED.
No they fine people because these players signed contractual agreements. There are clauses in contracts that tell you what your punishments would be if you were to break said clause.
