In all honesty I think he always had very very good live vocals. Their songs are insanely exhausting and straining, but he hits almost every note and also with the same, powerful techniques as on the records. I only know Mike Barnes from RED who's on his level or a bit above him. These two are definitely top 2. Most other vocalists struggle, while touring (understandable).
First time seeing them in Rochester NY on 5/24/2022 and he was sick w a stomach bug. He sat in a chair and sang and I thought he did great w being sick. I had to look him up on RUclips to see what his concert was like. He has lots of energy!
