For any one wondering how The Emperor (Boris) blocks the db2, I've played him locally offline for many years. He has among the best reactions of all the player's I've met. He can see and react to those 22~23f attacks if there are no attacks with similar looking animation and timing, luckily there is with b2 but TMM didn't do enough of them in the right circumstances, we could see him do it a couple of times and they hit, had the done them more at the walls they would have connected a couple of times then the db2 would have hit as it's not worth eating the wall splat. Boris also loves to play big and unorthodox characters with easy long range attacks, especially long range mid launchers, Jack has been his main ever since I played him for the first times in T5, since then Kuma and now Gigas are his favorites. He also adapts to his opponents patterns and timings extremely quickly. BTW I'm JeloSWE
@Charbel Chahine You are just ducking with a timing once Jin start to move. You can react and duck in time when you see Jin start doing something but you can't see WHAT is actually coming. If you mix it up with a slow CD1 and fast ff3. Then it becomes pretty much impossible. Also record MULTIPLE speeds on the CD4, CD1 and ff3 and see how easy it really is. The CD4 mostly get blocked when done from a long CD or a dash to instans CD4 where the opponent can sniff out the timing and kinda expect what's coming. You can do the CD in two ways, one is so fast that you don't see the crouch, that one mixes well with ff3. And one where you can see a bit of the CD motion, then a really slow CD1/3 mixes well and one can some time hit with CD~ff3 as well. But the key is to have two mids, one that is a bit faster than CD4 and another just a bit slower, then you cant duck on timing or duck first and then stand up once something is moving.

I still need to be care full how I do it, I need to cover it up by wavedash a lot of different mids before going for it. It's definitely not as good as DVJ or Kaz that's for sure. Also, I think this is what most people don't realize about "simple" characters. If you have simple move sets, you pretty much have a lot more focus and attention on different aspects, in this case, Gigas having more focus on defense, since he could punish and poke at such a long range.
