This can not be a current price. I just roof my four bedroom bungalow . 0.45 step tile roofing sheet current price is 8700. The price of the wood are not accurate, his statistics are wrong. Litel, two to three coach of blocks need to be ontop of the litel before roofing but in his own analysis it's not there. So many things are wrong.

For foundation you don't need Iron rods to do the foundation concrete beam. What you need is wire mesh. The iron rods sizes you need are either 12mm or 16mm for the pillars and 8mm or 10mm for pillars rings and binding wire to bind the rings.

Yea, the video focuses on Foundation to Roof level, and the price of the roofing sheets also depends on quality of the sheets (foreign or company) and thickness (watch my video on ROOFING SHEETS types). I omitted the Labor cost for some good reasons. Preparing a Bill of Quantities for your project will show you all those details, the video is to give you an idea of the estimated material costs to Roof level.

I do think the roofing estimate is inaccurate even for an estimate unless it's a flat roof style. My 3-bedroom all ensuite with all the forementioned - covering 12.5 x 14.5m has about 375 sqm roofing sheets - that was 2 years back. So, the 4 bedroom should be way above 300sqm.

This guy is talking thrash here. He should be talking about his state not Nigeria as a whole. You must establish the blinding volume and the volume of the dpc floors. One trip of sand for blinding of foundation and casting of the dpc is simply misleading. I guess he will accept this quote as cost when he takes up the contract. Your prices are relatively same but cement is already 10,000 per bag right now in some places. What type of four bedroom will take you just 300m². Some four bedroom will take you twice the cost you have proffered. So in your next video try to limit your four bedroom to a particular floor size which affects the room sizes.

This guy basically is saying you can build a house for $6k, more or less. That's how people get scammed. SUCH A PROJECT ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA WILL COST N50m or more, not less.

The video shows the quantity of materials that may be needed to build a 4 bedroom bungalow in Nigeria to the ROOF LEVEL, and mind you I'm in Abia state where the project was executed, I simply matched the current prices of Materials in my state to the quantity of materials, and don't think I posted the video because I am looking for projects or Jobs as I hardly do projects outside my state for now (so that I can deliver my promise).
I'm only sharing to educate people who are interested in building houses to give them an idea of what to expect, I made it clear in the video - Your project location, House design, construction method etc. contributes to the cost of building, and know that the figures were extracted from a Bill of Quantities produced by an Experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Watch my other videos on building Costs and you will see LABOR costs incuded, I only started omitting Labor costs for some good reasons. I'm working on another video that will show The cost of Finishing 4 Bedroom Bungalow in Nigeria.
And just like I said in the Video, the Best way to know the Cost of Building your house (to carcass or finishing) is to Use a Bill of Quantities prepared by an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
