It can't happen for legal reasons. The original limited licensing rights the author of the PE novels granted Squaresoft (and later, Square-Enix) expired while PE3 was in development, which became The Third Birthday. In fact, the whole reason The Third Birthday is such a colossal mess is the company was trying to rush another Parasite Eve game out before that license expired, failed, and then had to rewrite/change it so it became legally distinct enough to avoid an infringement case. So unless Squeenix can somehow win themselves back into the authors' good graces and get the rights, there won't be another Parasite Eve game made ever again.
That moment when an entire building of people turn into a giant blob-monster to give birth to a creature that can spontaneously explode any living thing within half a mile.
Faithful cover, I gotta say. Just got into Parasite Eve from some streamer friends. Even if the base battle music seems too chill, this gets the blood rushing proper for a boss fight... in fear and determination as one.
We need a remake on PE series so badly

Why????
That moment when a giant spider attacks you on a rooftop.

I actually tried playing this during boss battles in PE2.
This didn't disappoint AT ALL.
This has the primal power of Mitochondria, the repeating patterns of those genes, and a Christmas gone wrong feel all in it.
Commendable effort.
You did fantastic work on this track remake; it sounds exactly like an high quality composition of the original music. Well done!
I'm getting Kingdom Hearts vibes from this. Dream Drop Distance-wise.
The soundtrack is also by Yoko Shimamura
