Years ago I bought a Hunter Flame blade which is very light - I felt I had less control and also less power. These days I use an all-wood Stiga Clipper blade with thick aggressive rubber on both sides (usually something like Andro Nuzn or Andro Rasanter). But as for the two blades you are considering do ask Ping Sunday - they know a LOT more than me.
I made two mistakes in the beginning. First, I bought a factory racket, a Butterfly Addoy 2000, which I later found out was for leisure only. Then, I built an extremely fast racket, copied Hugo Calderano's Cournilleau setup. These mistakes hindered my learning. However, today, I assemble my rackets myself and know that I am closer to the ideal setup.
I haven't purchased it yet for beginners for my equipment what are you thought of these setup I'm considering? Butterfly SK7 classic racquet the rubber front Butterfly Tenergy 05 2.1mm and the back BUTTERFLY Tenergy 64 it comes with free glue / assemble service and I added side tape RB protector 12mm Let me know if this combination is okay if not what else do you suggest? General Question.. But first, I want to mention that you do a great job of explaining things in a way that any casual player should have no problem understanding the almost all concepts that you break down.. You also do so in a way that you don't have to over-state the redundant fundamentals of game improvement like a lot of similar Content Creators do.. ..I feel that I've practiced Proper Practice and I also feel very fortunate how quickly I improved so much.. I've tried out some of "the best" rubbers and my everyday Racket is probably ready for the Rubbers to be replaced again.. For the most part, I am fairly confident that about any equipment within the realm of my playstyle, will not be too much to take on.. To this point, for some reason, I haven't had any interest in moving on from the Spin Mystic by CounterStrike as part of my Build that I know & trust.. My brother runs the Dignics 09C/05 Combo that everyone seems to swear by, so we have "better" options here.. Could you generalize the difficulties I may encounter if I stick with a Spin Mystic on 1 side, or give your overall Take on comparable/related predicaments? For what it's worth, I'm a player who hasn't ruled out playing competitively; but it wouldn't be anytime soon if I decided to.. So, I'm mainly looking for fundamental Pros/Cons to continuing with this Rubber through higher levels of improvement. I bought a friendship 7 stars racket and play with it about 2 years and I improved well, my racket is 195g and my rubbers are very tacky even after 2 years and I can spin the ball so easily, first when I was learning fh topspin my coach didn't teach me right and I had difficulty with it for several months, now with your videos I learned it so good. Thanks. But my only problem with that is when I close my angle to do the topspin, the ball is spinny but slow, is that means I must do the weight transfer better?
And i found out that Wang Has co-founded a company named Loki, i tried the Loxi RXTon rubber and it was tacky, hard, and springy. Just what Coach wants.

I made one mistake when buying my first racket. I bought a pre made one which had barley any sponge and due to the blade being reallly fast, I couldnt handle it.
i recently switched from dhs h-lg that i've been using since 2013 with donic s1 turbo fh, tynergy 05 bh to viscaria with h3 provincial blue fh, dignic 05 bh. huge difference in consistency. it doesn't matter where on the face you hit from. it will be the same throughout. a lot slower then the previous setup but better for my play style of attack loop.
Is it worth it to buy this setup: Yinhe Y-4, fh: Mercury II, bh: Friendship 729 Focus III Snipe? I'm leisure player, and I play only outside on concrete table.
a bit of both you can try that yourself. Hitting the ball on a nice racket like that generates so much spin side spin that when it hits the racket it has strength to "defy gravity". It is a combination of great rubber and great technique as well

Just get what your coach advises you to get, a 40 degrees rubber requires strength and tecnique, which a new player doesn't have. Hard rubbers and heavy racket also means higher possibility for injuries because of the higher weight. Generaly a thin (1,8mm) soft-medium sponge (30-35 degrees) is advised because of the good feeling and controll that it provides. A good combo is stiga allround classic or offensive classic with butterfly sriver fx (for blockers and defenders), or something like yasaka mkV or dawei 2008 xp (with medium japanese sponge). These provide exelent control, feeling and touch. Note that the sriver fx is really soft. Later you may change to long or short pips, but most just go to something like butterfly rozena or donic bluefire and the butterfly korbel or stiga infinity blade. In the future you may like hard rubbers, but they are not begginers, as for long pips I recomend TSP Curl P1-r and for short TSP spectol blue or the original.

Werner Schlager said you should never train with thin rubbers cause you will pick up bad habits like opening the blade face too much.Traditional Swedish 5 ply blades like Stiga/Donic/Yasaka are just fine for developing technique,no need for using junk rubbers.

The first year or so beginners don't use almost any spin anyways, and a thicker rubber will be more difficult for them due to responsiveness. And I can think of many more things of why thick rubbers and beginners are trouble. Like half developed strokes due to rubbers being fast, ties directly to thick sponge.
fore me many misstake. the 1 thet have ben playing long time recomanded to me and got me a blade carbon blade super fast and heavy 0 controll and feeling, i did not know much at that time, playd long time with it, later fond out its no good fore me and was recomanded anoder fast blade, and to anoder fast blade and then i tryd defence blade but playing with so fast blade fore so long made it very hard was so slow, becurs i playd with fast blade all the time, in the end i looked fore a blade my self and finaly ended up with joo saehyuk blade that fits me Perfect ly, defenc blade with good attack power and i love the slim stright handel fits perfect in my hand easy to roll with too :)
omg what ? Hard Rubber for kids ? I learned that for beginners soft rubbers are much easyer to use and I am pretty sure that this is true so why would you give beginners a Hard rubber ? thats crazy especially for the first racket, maybe when they have the basics done you could change to something harder to have them get used to it for the future but as a beginner ? Most shops also say that the Harder rubbers are only for professional palyers and some players like Boll also said that some of those super hard ones are to hard to use for him if they aren't well tuned to become less hard.
Ur dad have another reason.. he didnt want to spend his money too much without knowing ur passion in table tennis. How if he bought u a $200 paddle and u only play for 1 week and after that u not play anymore.

Personnaly, I play with all+ wood blade and chinese rubber on both sides (young shine) with a little seamoon boost ;)

I think the best equipment for beginner is the slowest setup. That is necessary to learn stroke mechanism first

why softer rubbers on backhand? dont you need something hard in the back to be able to compensate the weakness?

nothing is THAT certain in combining blades/rubbers till you finally glue it and try it, all/all+ blade can shadow A LOT speed effect of 48+ rubbers

Ur dad have another reason.. he didnt want to spend his money too much without knowing ur passion in table tennis. How if he bought u a $200 paddle and u only play for 1 week and after that u not play anymore.
