One thing I was suprised to see not mentioned is slendermans weird movement in sanatorium. When he teleports, he slides across to where he wants to go, idk how common this was, but I remember seeing a video of someone looking down a hallway, and slender just slid into the doorway lol
I actually don't know (or just forgot) why we excluded this from the video and the one following it. My guess is one of the following: - We forgot about it completely while we were focusing on the obscure stuff - We didn't know enough about why it happened at the time, which would lead to another short section (like the donator boards and the Steam port) - We didn't find it important to bring up
it's really one of my favorite horror games from my childhood, the games are amazing, the youtubers who made videos on them are so cool to watch even 10 years later it still makes me happy to know that the slender man shadow community is not really dead and there are still people out there still playing and still looking for theories, and frankly, I congratulate you.

Dude, this is an amazing video, it was awesome to watch and see people still talking about Slender in 2022-2023 now! One thing I am very surprised you and Micro did not mention is that in Elementary, Mansion, Claustrophobia, and 7th Street, is that if you listen closely you can hear your characters heartbeat, this can be used as help because if slenderman is close to you after collecting 1 item and slenderman is close, your heartbeat accelerates extremely fast, indicating slenderman is very close to you. And also, how did you start in the box outside of Elementary at the very beginning of the game? ❤
@itsNatalieAtLeast Nice! what's interesting too, is that in Mansion, if you manage to get out of the map, you can also notice a box outside of the map aswell, this was confirmed by Marc to simply be a placeholder for the Glowsticks, but what is interesting is that if you go into the box, rather than getting stuck, you get the Sanatorium screen of GAME COMPLETE. So if that box in Elementary works the same as in Mansion where the game just randomly completes itself, that's another mystery lmao.
UPDATE: Just checked the games you mentioned, and the folder with the audio doesn't have any heartbeat sound effect, only Elementary does. I took out the page sounds and there wasn't any heartbeat when getting closer to Slender either. I think you're most likely just confusing it with the constant heartbeat in Elementary
@@itsNatalieAtLeast A good way to test it in elementary is that if you collect one of the bears in the courtyard outside, and go near the Keep Out sign you can notice a couple trees near it, if you walk into the the trees Slender is unable to get you there, you can test it there and just wait for him to teleport close enough to hear it, if the other maps do not have a heart beat, that could have been me with my own game files testing it on other maps with the files from Elementary, so that was probably a mistake on my part lmao, try and keep the page sounds in it too, cause I have messed around with audio files like that before and it kind of bugs out the game

Okay, first of all some of Marc’s answers sounded as if he wasn’t the one that created the Game 😂😂 second of all after all these Years it really does bother me that sanatorium ( the first Game in the series after the original ) doesn’t have a story about the character and why is he there Collecting pages
1. Do keep in mind that he was 17/18 at the time, plus he works at Microsoft now, so he's probably prioritising that over remembering small details about a spin-off series he made 11 years ago.
2. Yeah I can see what you mean, but I think it's for the better. I mean, take the gun ending into account. Even Marc was cringing at it during his reaction to this video last year
