As a Blazers fan, that would be ideal. I love what the Magic have going for them and Anfernee would be a perfect fit
Simons would be my perfect fit for what we have and where we going. Bring the altamonte springs kid back home. I mean he is named Anfernee for a reason! But some picks and cap relief and a couple young shooters will get that deal done.

Magic need to trade for Anfernee Simons. He’d be a great 3rd option behind Franz and Paolo and would fit their team great (although his defense is buns)
I think Dejonte works well on Orlando. They keep their defensive minded play style while adding shot creation and playmaking
You Wydin bro !! Dejounte is way better fit for the magic then Trey young . DJ. Murray averaged 6 assists and averaged over 20 pts n does not need the ball all the time like Trey. And he's 6'5 so he's a huge PG. Murray's contract is way more tradeable too!!

Dejonte is much better for Magic than Trae. He is tall, nice ballhandler, great shooter, leader with good defence. Trae is short, no defence, bad in pace. No, please no Trae in m Magic.

Still a year left on his contract, unless GSW releases him. We can actually just eat his contract for one year rental, might get some draft picks from GSW if they decide to go that route
So he does. However, it's not guaranteed. The Warriors could cut him before 6/28 and be free if the contract. I was thinking that he could be a veteran leadership type of pick up, which Orlando could use.

man i really want to see someone like trae in orlando. we got our core of young and promising players, but just need another piece for a second round run as we saw during the last two weeks. trae fits the timeline and could fill our needs (mostly playmaking and shot creation)+there are not many teams that could hide his defense liabilities like the magic. i would defo give the hawks a call.
Idk, I like Bamba and Bol. Shooting and inexperience were issues but I’d like an upper mid tier center and a vet.

Anfernee Simons would be a great addition, but Orlando needs a pg first and foremost. Banchero and Franz are obviously the first two options, Banchero specifically will eventually be a 30 ppg superstar. Suggs is showing strides offensively, and with a great facilitator i think it be easier to set him up for good looks. He’s a solid third option. Tyus Jones would be a perfect fit. Phenomenal assist to to ration and is a solid shooter
am I Crazy for thinking that Jordan poole wouldn't be a bad fit. He plays lazy and unfocused when he knows his season won't matter so trade him to a team that did and will make the playoffs. I think he could facilitate and shot create well.
Can you do a rebuild of the 2012-13 Knicks and see if you could prolong their success to more than just one season?

i like your takes, you generally keep it real and aren't scared to call a spade a spade. interesting how you didn't say much on franz, who was a major player for them this year. if you go back to college, franz played bad in big games, just like his game 7. freaks me out how inconsistent his jumper was. at one point, i really felt like he was the best player from his draft class

On the shooting thing, suggs was just under 40%, wendell is around like 37%, and gary harris is also around 37%.
Main issue is that suggs and harris can't really punish closeouts with drives, or create shots themselves(and Franz' jumper randomly abandoning him). Main guy going around the fanbase is malik monk
id honestly try to get a discounted cp3 if possible. he helped the thunder so much in his time there, we could use that same leadership. the cavs series also showed cole he is not him, so learning from a legendary small guard potentially helps him a lot specifically. and pls stop spamming tyus jones he is tiny and definitely doesnt move the needle in any significant way. we already have a 6'8 guard in ab that has infinitely more potential than jones. start him again to get the reps, his size and defense already make his floor very high and he was shooting lights out after all star break

The most important thing is internal improvement. This team goes nowhere until both Paulo and Franz up their scoring efficiency. I think the guard rotation was actually one of their keys to being a good defensive team, so if you break that up for an offensive point guard with suspect defense, and Franz and Paulo don't improve, then the team will just be weaker overall.
Exactly bud... no to simons, no to trae, pg too expensive.... dejounte Murray would fit, but the money tho... we got extensions coming up... Malik monk fits best overall, as I believe on a defensive minded team his d would look better... plus the shot creation and ball handling.... he fits, almost perfectly
I'd like to throw out something I just recently thought of... if we could pry TJ Connolly from indy and place him as a starting PG, we sacrifice size but not so much on defense... plus I believe he could be the perfect person for AB to learn from while coming off the bench... I don't think he would cost a whole lot either... thoughts?

Anthony black shot 44% from 3 post all star break. 29 3PA in 19 games. That's a good sign. I'd say trade for cp3, get some draft picks from gsw, it's a one year rental. Then use all that accumulated assets and maybe some more to trade for a great big men, or trade up in the draft for an all around big. Alex sarr maybe or someone else in the next draft
