    What a great 👍🏼 video! Tomorrow I am going to be at the dealership looking 👀 at a Honda Fury. Watched a lot of videos and so many people who own them just love them. Honda is well known for dependability and that is what really appeals to me. Also the mods available for the Fury is endless, there is so many options available to customize it.

      Talk to me about mods on email. ridingwithmarshall@gmail.com You'll want to change the seat, raise the bars, and drill out the pilot holes already in the muffler baffles. Windshield optional.

    WOW!! other than your Fury, that other Fury was freaking gorgeous. So were the sirens. you said you had to gas up, how many times on the way there, if you don't mind me asking. cool video. that really was a good looking Fury!!!

      I topped off 4 times there and 4 back, usually just 2 gallons each time, so around $80? I carried a 1L gas bottle too, but used it to help a stranded rider.

      @@ridingwithmarshall that's what i was thinking 40 bucks each way. pretty cool. i can ride from Ocala, FL to Daytona and back on a tank, but getting back my last gas bar is flashing. it;s about65-70 miles one way. speed varies 35-55mph. this is on my Rebel 500.

      @@davidbreen4727 I was thinking of touring out a Rebel 1100, but the small tank turned me away. So we bought the DN-01, with a 4 gallon tank that still empties in 130 miles. Can't win!

    Hello
    Great video. I ride a 2011 fury but never thought it can handle a cross country ride. I may consider it now after watching your video. I installed a riser to bring the bar back to me a bit.
    Can you please share a link to the windshield, phone holder and luggage accessories?
    Thanks

      With all due respect, have you ever owned a Honda motorcycle before ? Any one of them can do a ride across the country.

    Another cracking video Marshall. By the way, I noticed a cruise control throttle stop on your bars. What make and how'd you find it? When you come to Scotland to do the NC500 with us, you'll have a chance of a few more photo's for your album. I look forward to that....chose your bike you can borrow, NM4 (750cc) or The Fury.

      It was an Amazon throttle lock, for like $8. You have to tighten the clamp screw habitually, but it let's you scratch an itch or zip up with your right hand for a minute.

    Love the vid. What kind of windshield? Do you recommend it? What phone holder is that? Thank you. Keep em coming.

    • @ridingwithmarshall
      @ridingwithmarshall  2 года назад +1

      It's a national cycles windshield that clips into the bars and removes easily. I don't recommend the phone holder. The first one broke while riding, and I miraculously caught it. This second one is reinforced with a lot of silicone, but I still don't trust it going over hard bumps, and I put a hand on it when I do. It was maybe $25 at Walmart I think.

      @@cagedracer I do. It blocks just enough. I'm not home to get you the part number, but its listed on the national cycle website as fitting the Fury.

    LOL. right now i have until May of next year to get all my camping gear, save money, get the bike set up(new tires, air filter, brakes, oil/brake fluid change, maybe new chain)for a cross country trip. i figure 500 on gas, gonna go country roads no interstate. should be my last adventure, we'll see.

    Hi, great video. I also own a Honda Fury, do you have the part number for those 2 mustang seats? Thanks

  • @dustylondon5207
    @dustylondon5207 2 года назад +1

    Did the Mustang seat affect the handling dynamics of the bike since it sits you up a bit higher? I tried a Mustang Wide Touring seat on my Shadow Phantom and the higher center of gravity changed the way it handled, and not in a good way. I am debating which seat I want to add to my new to me Fury and I don't want something that sits me up high enough to negatively affect the handling. Thanks!

    • @ridingwithmarshall
      @ridingwithmarshall  2 года назад +2

      I highly recommend the Mustang seat. Not only is it all-day comfortable, it seems to put my legs in a more comfortable position than stock. It cushions bumps well, and provides a bit of a backrest. It feels like it brings me a little closer "to grips" with the bars too. I couldn't have done an over-nighter in Sturgis without it. The only downside is that artistically, it doesn't follow the contour of the bike.
