So basically treat this stuff as if someone is standing there staring at the area, walks away for several minutes, and comes back to stare at and compare the area. Interesting

    1. it doesn't take multiple passes, it takes TWO. 2. Polarimetric SAR can see through foliage. 3. Interferomeric SAR can see subsidence from underground construction or tunneling. Capabilities of SAR are vastly understated here.

Talk about click bait: The title of this video is "How to Hide From Drones...", yet there is no mention of hiding from them in the entire video.

I was a SAR engineer working for a US defense contractor in the 1980s. We could do crazy, amazing things back then. I'd think we are lightyears ahead of we we accomplished 35 years ago.

Thank you so much for an enlightened explanation of SAR, a threat to everyone. Currently, a drone equipped with SAR is about $100k. So you can be sure that it's the government doing surveillance because they are the only ones that can afford it.

They can “see” your footprints. Think about that.

We utilized CCD to identify density changes to find IED's that was incorporated into an optic that replaced our 14's. It will also outline paint on a road due to density changes as well as outlining wires, both powerlines and thicker command wire(like lamp cord). Unfortunately this tech was not available at the time for the JERRV's but did provide plenty of information for me once I was on the ground outside the vehicle.

Can't see through 3d camo and trees. And all of this and we still blew up a family thinking they were loading a bomb.

Important note: In order to detect a single grain of sand you need to use wave lengths shorter than that grain of sand. Meaning that the radar will also be able to pick up large groups of tiny water drops aka the clouds. So best defense from this do what ever you want to do in a heavy overcast and/or rain.

Hypothetically speaking, a poorer opponent can potentially plant fields of equally spaced rocks. To help funnel and slow down a conventional force so it can be easier to ambush and destroy. Mabey disperse a few actual mines for fun.

Bro, you titled this video "how to hide from..." But I don't quite recall a single tip, trick, tactic or way that people can hide from these damned things. At least not anything that we don't already consider to be relatively doable and well-known for certain circles.

The delicate angles of the propellers on the new subs is so fine tuned, that one can only hear them if trained to while in real world situations. So secret that it is shrouded so it cannot be analyzed lol gotta love trade craft. New sub, love the content. Very well done. I can tell you've actually read the manuals. Love it.
