My brother and I grew up on castor oil, cod liver oil, and Father John, all with an orange juice chaser. Our mom gave us all three in liquid form. Yuck. But I will take the capsules

My grandmother born in 1899 loved COD Liver Oil & "Adelle Davis". (Adelle recommended Cod Liver Oil) She was 94. Grandma wanted to "move on" Funny girl! so so healthy- with no meds or problems! Such a great problem too old and too healthy!
I was 3 years old and had "Rickets" when I was young, my Mom gave me Cod Live Oil and it is a MIRACLE in a bottle! My legs straightened and I was the healthiest and now I'm 69 still no meds no health problems. My sister did NOT and she did not do well, she passed recently...COD liver oil IS THE BEST THING I EVER DID!
My mom used to give me and my twin sister ( rip, sis) Cod Liver Oil once per month when we were younger. Not only that, my mom wouldn't give us anything to chase the digusting taste. So, we had to drink that nasty tasting stuff by itself. But when we got older, we realized we were never sickly when younger.
Growing up in the Caribbean it's castor oil, cod liver oil, CRAB OIL!! COCONUT OIL. Crab oil smells like wood to me (freshly sawed wood) and it's bitter as hell! But good for your blood! Big ups 🇬🇾🇧🇷🇯🇲💃🏿🥰

They have cod liver oil in tablets as well. For me, it is absolutely disgusting, but it was a staple remedy that my grandmother gave to us often when she was babysitting me and my brothers.

Does cod liver oil come in supplement form (pill)? I also take supplements a couple hours apart so that I have an alarm/reminder come up to tell me to take another supplement.

Crab is a scavenger. We are not to consume crab. Liver is a blood organ. We are not to consume anything from organs. Nor eat organs.
