Was looking for some cool jazz and in a desperate attempt I typed "spicy bass bone" because who doesn't like some spicy bass bone, and congrats, you were the second result
Unfortunately this was all I was able to capture, don’t worry though because others recorded their euph runs and I’m sure they’ll be posted eventually.
Luis did a GoPro run but it got deleted some how and Matthew didn’t have a GoPro so he wasn’t able to do a GoPro run, so yeah that’s why there’s no trumpet soloist cam.
Euph players switch to play trombone from time to time. There's nothing stopping you except yourself. Once upon a time you didn't know the fingerings for notes on the tuba. Now you do. You'll learn, you just have to start
little did he know, slide positions heavily correlate to fingerings 1st position = open/no valves 2nd position = 2nd valve 3rd position = 1st valve 4th position = 1 and 2 5th position = 2 and 3 6th position = 1 and 3
Jkzombie 239 I’ve seen a bunch of full show transcriptions floating out there, but they aren’t 100% accurate when it comes to this bass part. I’d recommend trying to write it out, transcribing solos are very fun! (It starts out on D2 below the bass clef)
Love how bass bone is getting some love now!!!
They had a bass bone in 2016. There needs to be more bands using bass bones. Myself uses one
Yeah one guy who I knew in High School was a bass trombonist for Genesis

Hey there, do you have any advice on playing lower on trombone?
Other than lots of air and open oral cavity, I find that angling the horn higher allows the lower notes to really speak
Nathan Mohnke Thank you very much Nathan! I may not be able to go down super low on my F attachment but I’ll try. Thanks for the tips.
Hey what was the mouth piece you used ik this is a year later but i had just found this video today lol
Jkzombie 239 I used a Hammond Design 20BL which was the corps go to bass trombone mouthpiece
