I have a black C-1 Platinum made in South Korea. I liked it so much I ended up getting another one so I could put Jim Root EMGs in the black one and keep the other as is. The second one is blue and was made in Indonesia. I bought it used. In my experience, they are very similar in feel and quality (I could also see the wood grain in the back. I think the white one is just designed to be painted in the back. The main difference I noticed was that the Indonesian one seemed to have a few "cut corners" in the build process, such as the glue near the headstock not being wiped completely and just finished over and the set neck joint being visible on the back through the finish. None of these things were deal-breakers and didn't affect the tone or playability. I personally feel like the necks are pretty much the same between the two. Honestly, I still confused why they even have Indonesian-made C-1 Platinums, but whatever haha. I love them both.
Great guitars, i think that white one is gorgeous, even though id probably go for the korean model over an Indonesian model, the look of that white one is sick!
The perceived weight difference is probably a balance thing. I know that headless guitars need to lighten the body to keep a good balance. I'm not sure how you would check the balance on a guitar. An interesting thing to try would be to switch the straps on the guitars to see if that changes the balance.
Dude, I just picked one up and it doesn't sound right. Wondering if it's the pickups. It doesn't have that in your face sound I want. Did I get a lemon? Is it the EMG?
I just bought the green Korean c1 for 400, and I like it a lot. My reaper 6 plays just a little bit better, but the emg 81 is wayyy nicer than the decimator in the reaper.

The white one sounds much softer on the clean sound, I prefer that but I like what you're describing on the neck of the Korean one
