Yes! Walking into the purple and green in DCA looks so good. DCA is more fun during Halloween and Christmas and Disneyland is more nostalgic and beautifully pristine.

Oh how we love Disneyland at Halloween! Every time you “go left”, I just want to be there so much. We have always gone left so that our son can get a picture with Indiana Jones. It’s the very first thing we do when we enter the park. Take a photo with flower Mickey? Heck no! It’s gotta be Indy…more than 20 years now. Joe is special needs and has a specific agenda. 🤠🤩❤️

I loved trying to get some good night photos with my camera. Some came out really awesome, including a few shots of Grizzly River Run, which looked really eerie with the geyser mist, and the setting I had it on made the rafts look rather ghostly. It was awesome.

The only place I like Disney at night is Main Street. The rest of it is very dark and not very inviting. But I do have some fond memories. When I was in 7th grade my school had a trip to Disneyland. We left on school buses in the afternoon and stayed until midnight. I remember going without any plans to hang out with any friends. But I hooked up with some guys I barely knew from gym class. It was so much fun!! 1972 was the year. You can imagine what we got away with!

I absolutely love the attention to detail and lighting at DCA and Disneyland. Disney thinks of everything! Overall I love both parks in the day and night, but there's something about the nighttime life at the parks that I absolutely love! Oh and the projections are on point too!

You and your family are amazing and I was driving a semi truck for 6 years and I ended up having an accident back in February of 2022 and I have been out of work since, but I really enjoy all of your videos. I made up my mind that when I get back to work, I'm going to save up enough money to come to California. There's four places that I want to visit there in California, but I was wondering about Six Flags Majic Mountain. Is that theme park still in business? I remember going there as a young kid with my grandmother and making candles there from bees wax. Do you know if that place is open and if they still have the place to make candles? Again Chris thank-you for all of the great videos.

It feels different on the vibe of the Halloween season at DCA and Disneyland. Disneyland has that classic type of feeling while DCA is more decked out for Halloween. They seem to put a lot more effort on their effects more than in Disneyland. I have been on Guardians Of The Galaxy a few times before and I am not too much of a fan of the ride. The pre show and the effects are awesome but I prefer Tower Of Terror better. These walk n talk videos are so calming, they get me through the day very good. Happy Halloween PPP!
Those new hoods and the flags across the top of Ramones are for the Mexican holiday - Day of the Dead! Have you seen Coco? (GREAT GREAT MOVIE!). That movie talks about the Day of the Dead.
Fun Fact: DCA is lit in "purple and green" to showcase Maleficent's color scheme from "Sleeping Beauty" as her and "Oogie Boogie" are the most popular Disney villains in the Rogue's gallery. They sell the most "Villain" merchandise at both parks. A big part of Maleficent's sales came from the popularity of Fantasmic! which as we know features her towering dragon form.
Why Disney won't just fix Murphy or bring back the classic "Dragon head on a stick" still irritates me. They still to this day, have the original dragon puppet from the show back in 1992, which they still sometimes bring out for display at D23. I also have one of the largest "Disneyland" Fantasmic! memorabilia collections on the West Coast! So as you can imagine, I would really like to see the show come back sooner than later. All these announcements and yet no love is being given to restoring arguably the most popular "Nighttime Spectacular" of all time.

My family bought a personalized paver stone between Disneyland & DCA in section C64. Disney guaranteed the stone would stay for 10 years. It has been there 23 years and still going strong. It's my last connection to the area. 😢😂
