- For our next review, we tried out the world famous Katz's Delicatessen. It was a lifelong goal of Brian's to make it here one day, so we made it happen on this trip. While the sandwiches are pricey, they are HUGE and delicious. We recommend getting a half sandwich if you're eating for one as we ended up not being able to finish all of our delicious sandwiches. We tried the reuben, corned beef, and pastrami sandwiches. We also tried out the chopped liver and some desserts as well. Our server John was great, and you'll hear him a little throughout our video giving us a hard time. Even though Katz's is one of those world famous places, it is definitely worth the stop as the sandwiches are so good!

This is such an awesome video. I love Katz's Deli and can't wait to go there ourselves in August. This place is a legend and should be on everyone's restaurant bucket list. It's always a treat to visit places that have been around for that long. Glad your daughter liked the cake.

We definitely felt they were worth the price. We just wished we would’ve known about the half sandwiches before hand because we sensed up having to throw our leftovers away after exploring the city some more. It was heartbreaking! -S

The sandwiches are huge. They are expensive but the amount of meat on there could almost feed an army. When she saw that chocolate cake, she said she had to review it! She did a great job! -S

Yea… it’s definitely very pricey. I wish we would’ve known about the half sandwich option before ordering. We had half of everything left when we were stuffed. -S

The egg creams were a one and done for me. They were good, but who wants watered down chocolate milk? 😂 The sandwiches were fantastic though! -S
I haven't been there in years. Classic Jewish deli!! Love those sour pickles too the lighter ones are called half sour. The chopped liver is made with schmaltz. That's what gives it the creaminess!! Awesome food!
Now I have to see what schmaltz is! I was pleasantly surprised by the chopped liver. Now we know about the pickles too. Thanks for all the info! -S

It's always a long line there. It's not that far from little Italy. So when I go to New York I'll have lunch at the deli and dinner in little Italy.
I don’t think we even saw Little Italy. This is why we have to go back soon! We missed so much! -S
Even just watching here on the computer screen, it just looks like a cool place with some good stuff. The Little B.S.'r knows how to do a review! Pretty good! The chopped liver really caught my eye, ...you just don't see that on a menu anymore! Sandwiches looked absolutely big and fantastic! I too would have to get a beer! This channel is in my top two of favorite channels. I will watch the later video tonight. Cheers!
Honestly, I’m impressed with their chopped liver. It was so tasty and if I go back for more, even if Brian says it has and organ flavor, you know it was good. Definitely would stop in to Katz again and order more to try! Ps.. if I’m catching on, which I am blonde, I think I may know your number 1 channel now 😂. I’m slow. -S

I have been to Katz's once and I still count it as one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the pastrami and a chocolate egg cream while sitting at the When Harry Met Sally table and it was glorious. I had never had pastrami like that before or since. - Loren

Brian and I don’t usually eat anything until 12:30 everyday. Not that we don’t love breakfast food but that whole intermittent fasting thing 😂. The sandwiches definitely were so filling and worth the wait. We enjoyed them all! -S

I went in 2011. I loved the pastrami sandwich but found the place a bit pricey. But hey it’s New York and it’s Katz Deli. Great review thanks
It is super pricey but I do think you get a lot for the money (but still $25 for just a sandwich is a lot.) It’s definitely an experience and we were glad we got to try the famous sandwiches. -S
Such a cool place! The prices seem a bit high, but probably right for New York. Chopped liver?? I've actually never had liver. Not sure I'm willing to try it! The Reuben sounds amazing. The corned beef, too! I don't know how I would choose a sandwich there! Oh I want the creams! Such a great stop and review. Fun to see your littles! She did a great job! Too funny about John the server. 😂
The server was hilarious. The prices are very high, even for New York, but the sandwiches are huge and you have to go to the famous places while on vacation right?! The sandwiches were all great. If you don’t know what to order just let them do it for you, John would be more than happy to I’m sure 😂 -S

In the future, you should order direct from the counter, rather than doing table service. You tip him when you are asking for your sandwich, and he gives you a bigger, juicier sandwich. Also I much prefer their pastrami to their Ruben and their corned beef.

Well that’s super fun guys we didn’t visit there when we went to New York it’s hard to get them all in you know…. We did go see the soup Nazi guy though that was pretty fun it’s nothing like it is on Seinfeld don’t know if you guys made it there yet We can’t remember but if not it’s fun….

Oh my God, it's been so long since I've been there but it's by far the best corned beef and pastrami I've ever had. no comparison. I kind of dug the brighter green pickles a little more. I think the crunch factor has something to do with it for me. Only thing I never had was the dessert.. Welcome to NY!!! My wife would never have let me film in there. she's too nervous. 🤣😂
😂 I always get nervous when we are setting up to film but then I just try to ignore everything going on around us. Everything we had was so delicious. Definitely try the desserts! -S

I would have a hard time with the bread falling apart. I don’t really care for soggy bread. I was laughing at the guy who brought the chopped liver. “You’re not gonna eat that, that’s for damn sure” 🤣 he must have been talking to your kiddos. Mmmmmm organ mean flavor 🤣🤣🤣

To be able to say that I ate at a New York deli would be worth it alone; but the food here certainly sounds like it narrows down the choice of delis.
