- For our last dining review from our New York trip, we went to a very historic establishment, Fraunces Tavern. This is New York's oldest and most historic bar. We grace the same bar as George Washington! How cool is that?! For our meals, we shared the charcuterie and had the Tavern Burger and Slow Roasted Chicken Pot Pie. This is definitely worth a stop to check out some history with a delicious meal!

Historical restaurant and a museum in the same building sounds awesome. I'm so digging that burger, looks so delish!

This place looks great on so many levels. The history behind it was very interesting. George Washington ate here, wow! The Boston Tea Party was planned here. This was a part of the revolution and that's so inspiring. The burger and pot pie looked amazing. The lobster Mac n Cheese also sounds like a banger. I feel like I have to eat here now.
This place was great! Honestly who doesn’t love teaching the kids a little something with their meal?! We really enjoyed it and next time we will have to check out the museum too! -S
I would be all about the lobster mac n cheese. I'd try the pot pie. Joe would be all over the burger. It's huge. When I hear tavern, I'd never expect the food to be so upscale. It looks incredible.
This was a fantastic spot! The food was great and the atmosphere was as well! Everything was tasty and we enjoyed every single bite! -S

This place looks really cool! I love historical places. That chicken pot pie looks awesome. It’s one of the best comfort foods! The Mac and cheese looked really tasty too. Charbroiled burgers are the best!
I wish we would’ve had time to go to the museum in here but we had another reservation we had to run to. The food was delicious though! -S

What an amazing place! I would definitely want to go there if or when I go to NY. Just the history there is so incredible, I was hoping that you would pan around the inside, but I guess I'll just have to go see it for myself! All of the food did look delicious and your daughter did an amazing job with her review of the food!!! That mac & cheese did look delicious! And a lobster mac & cheese would definitely be amazing! 😋👍🍻
We need to do better of filming the inside! This was a neat spot and we didn’t even walk through the whole place. Brian and I both said it felt like we needed to have a glass of whiskey while there! -S

This was such a great find and wasn’t really on our radar. We really just happened to be outside and the kids decided they couldn’t move another inch without food. Everyone left full and super satisfied! -S
Having a cheeseburger in the financial district for $22 it's actually a pretty good deal. I remember being there in the eighties and having a cheeseburger at Rockefeller center and it was $20.
It was a big burger too! Definitely ok size for the price! -S

Hey Hey Guys! I cannot wait to visit NYC. I lived in New England and went to some tourist attractions in INYC but did not have time to visit the little eateries in the different neighborhoods. The burger and Pot Pie both look amazing! Kids meal were good size portions as well. Your daughter is adorable! Thank you guys for bringing us along on another great adventure!
We loved the foods! We of course did a lot of touristy things on our trip but we love to try the little places that locals enjoy. That’s always the best! -S
Wow really great spot. I'm loving all the food and it totally seems iconic. Always gotta have fries and I'm loving the burger and chicken pot pie! The kids' mac and cheese seems good and creamy too!

This was a great place for a little history and delicious food! Brian was just trying to protect my mouth, which I burned several times this trip 😂. Hunger wins over most of the time for me. Who needs tastebuds?! -S
Very cool restaurant and history. I too love the smell of cedar. I own several wool suits, and cedar is your best friend to keep the moths away.

Nice. I am actually in NY as well out on long island. Food looks great. I have been eating my share of pizza, breakfast sandwiches and chinese food. Looks like a good time. Love those old ny tavern places

I do the same thing with with my crust on the pot pies before going in. 🤣😂 As I'm at work starving to death and watching you guys, I'm loving the sound of the Lobster Mac & Cheese. it's so hard to find a good one done right. As crazy as it sounds considering I'm somewhat in the area, I've never been in the financial district. This video just made it something I need to check out now... And price wise..... Not bad for NYC prices!
I like to save my crust for last and Brian ruined it for me 😂. We had a great time exploring all of New York and we need to go back soon! There is still so much to explore! -S
