  • If you can't find a DeLorean that will take you back in time, a visit to NYC's Fraunces Tavern will transport you to the American Revolutionary era. This tavern was first established in 1763 by Samuel Fraunces, when he purchased the former residential building and converted it to The Queen's Head Tavern. This tavern is steeped in Americana history and played an important role in the Revolution. George Washington gave a farewell speech to the Continental Army in the tavern's Long Room during a sendoff feast. The tavern also houses a museum so you can find out more about its history and all the incredible events that have taken place there over the years (including a bombing in 1975!). However we are here today for the brunch (in addition to the cool atmosphere) and sample a few items off their menu. Come along for this food adventure!
