A little hack that really helps me during a closet cleanout is having a maybe pile for truly undecided items. I put them up in a specific section of my closet and make sure that every time I dress myself, I have to pick at least 1 item from that section. After about 2 weeks of doing this, I realise when I have been missing out on gems or just finding myself refusing to wear something for reasons I didn't realise before. It really helps to hear your thoughts in real-time about the maybe items. Hope that helps you in the future!
I love this idea! I just prefer to let it go as holding maybe clothes stresses me out hahaha. I’ve never regretted any donations yet so hopefully it stays that way!!

The denim shorts jumpsuit is a keep! Call me crazy but the long sleeve blue princess Polly dress looks great on you - the colour and the fit, to me it actually looks better on you than the silver slip you put on right after.

regarding the thrifted things are “one of one”/cant re-buy… that may be true BUT as the girlfriend of a vintage seller- the world is FULL of beautiful one of one things- that is not the problem. The issue is finding the right person for the piece! Let it go so it can find the person who rocks it.

A good thing to do if you really really don’t know if you want to donate something or not is to make a donate pile but then style everything in the donate pile and wear it at least once intentionally. Then figure out if it’s something you want to wear again or if it’s uncomfortable etc… plus would love to see that kind of video

the corduroy overalls are so cute. i think the denim overalls could be cool if you opened all the top buttons and had a white t shirt or tank (or another colour) under them!! i also love the chunky black turtleneck too i wish i had a similar one
you're right it is annoying to donate/sell things that have been never worn but you really like them .

My recommendation on the denim s/s jumpsuit is to have a tailor shorten the sleeves. I think on your frame it would be more of that effortlessly cool chic look if the sleeves were not as long.

I have a drawer I call the “gardening clothes” drawer. …I don’t do any gardening though. It’s full of ratty old college T-shirts and unfashionable athletic shorts. But if I ever decide to grow some vegetables, I have a full wardrobe!

Pro Tip: if you cut a dress too short just turn it into a two piece where the top is slightly cropped depending on how much longer you need the skirt

the stuff that you hang on to is so important that you make an effort to wear them and style them differently to see if you can actually wear it. i do that all the time, like ill be like i love this top and then once i try styling it realise its never gonna work for me.

The blue dress you’re unsure of near the 3 min mark … I don’t think the colour is right for you. The screen flashed between that and the lovely slip dress you put on next and it was like *BAM* suddenly you’re glowing and just how you light up when you’re in that dress …. I think that says it all. If a dress doesn’t make you feel the way that one does, meh. It doesn’t deserve to be in your wardrobe. IMO. Burst out laughing when that hideous cut up dress from your latest “is it a fit …” video made a cameo … if you wear that for an interview, please please PLEASE sneak in a camera 😂
