A big thank you for introducing me to the latest card. For my film in Greenland, I was planning to take 2 Sandisk 512GB + 8 Angelbird 512GB to have enough storage for self-sufficiency, but I’m not a fan of Angelbird. I’ve already had some expensive CFast cards from them that failed within the first few days, but budget-wise, I didn’t have a choice. Sabrent is giving me new hope here-I know what to order for Christmas and can prepare for my expedition more confidently than with Angelbird.
Oh yes, a ton of folks at the start claim they didnt have any issue with Angelbird and its always on sale. Later on , I would get ping that their card died and its wild. You can search that issue more than finding issues with Sabrent . Its wild
If your not bursting too much and you shoot here and there, it should be fine. Some folks dont need the high power performance. If you do, then get the silver one. My brother has the green one on his z9 as a back up card in his slot 2.
@@theCameraVille Sabrent have some new cards with updated speeds. But I still wonder if the new 512GB have a better sustained write speed for Nikon Z9 8k60p N-Raw. Thanks for all your comparisons, much appreciated.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like the hottest spot on the Angelbird is near the top of the card instead of in the middle like the rest of the cards. I think if you measured near the top, it would also be over 100F. Do you still have the Angelbird card to retest? Comparing the shutter sound for the buffer test was pretty neat.
So before every test video , we would run a live trial on the instagram before posting on youtube, so the audience can see uncut footage and throw their Q/A before I post on youtube. If I remember correctly, I was in disbelief on the angel bird being so cool, and after several tries to get it hot, it was the coolest card. I still gave it away after the test because the build quality is not good. I cant recommend flimsy built cards. Cheers!
Yea, it was embarrassing when I had to strip out the card on my live feed. it made me look crazy. Im glad others folks are coming forward and reporting the same issue. I will look in to Prograde as well. I was told by other user that its a very nice card. Next video~!
The same test in an R5 C would also really be nice.
Excellent. I will introduce 2 new cards for that comparison. I will remove 2 from this comparison as the cards are getting crowded lol

Is the Delkin regular cfexpress nearly as good as their black card? I’m new to this world and trying to find a good card for professional use. Thanks!

Sabrent 512 is not recognised by M1 Mac mini 😢 with prograde reader massive bummer for me cos card is v good 👍
My Sabrent works on my M1 Max laptop. Hmm these readers on the market can be a pain.
Angelbird build quality sucks. I don't recommend this brand ata all. PRO grade all day for me

This Canon's got ugly look like Zenit 412 😀
Wow, Has some Zenit 412 I just saw
To each their own. I like the look, the rounding also makes it feel very ergonomic
@@MamaLifeBre of course its very ergonomic, but... there are good, bad & ugly looking cameras 🤠
